Umm did last Christmas not count?

One of the cars wouldn't start this morning. I assume it was not the cold but a light must have been left on after I moved it to clear its spot yesterday. At least that is what I am hoping as it was only 5 today and has never had issues starting at -10.

The 10.3 was me. The odd thing was in an earlier statement (7:40 on Sunday) there was a report of 9.0 saying 4 miles NW of Norwich and the GPS location given was across the street from me but said it was measured a my elevation, which I usually include to explain why the results are higher than in town. I doubt it was that neighbor as there house sits way higher than 1240' and is up a mile long driveway. I wonder if it was just a typo but I hadn't submitted my reading until after the statement went out.

Sorry, I was not trying to be overly vague. WRJ is White River Junction. By being in Brattleboro, coming from Mass I presumed you were on I-91. Brattleboro is roughly 10 mile into Vermont on I-91. As you will, no doubt know, that Federal Law requires interstate exits to be renamed for what mile marker they are at. Vermont has responded by putting signs at the bottom of the exit sign saying what mile marker the exits are at. Additionally, every 2 tenths of a mile on the interstates in Vermont, there are green mile markers. By giving you this information I was giving you an idea how far it was. If you looked at my location to the side of the post it would also have been a good hint where to look for WRJ and that there was snow there. And as MREEVES points out I suggested a loop with I-89. My full post was Maps would have been a good hint that the road you were on and I-89 meet at WRJ. I agree however that the use of airport codes and fake ones drives me to do research into where people are talking about frequently. I hope you found some better snow to show your friend. I got over 10 inches.

Only 5 degrees out, feels kind of chilly

Another 4 inches overnight. 10.3 total. When I shoveled the back walk, it had more heft to it than I was expecting.

Snow started lightly here about 11 and in earnest at about 11:15 right after I got back from running my errands, including shear pins and sparkplug for the snow blower. Already whitening everything up.

Well I better go run my errands now and beat the fun. Most SWFEs are good for 4.5 to 7 inches here so in my head I am planning on that.

Lets review where things look for the weekend: 1. 5- 8 inches for my area 2. Falls on weekend 3. Starts late enough I can take trash and recycling to the dump on Saturday AM 4. Ends soon enough, I can dig out the driveway on Sunday. I approve of this approach.

In 2017, I got 10.8 inches of snow on Christmas. I don't remember if others got much.
