  1. They issued a WWA for last storm, when 8+ looked inevitable, which it was. Now they issue a Winter Storm Watch when 4 or less looks inevitable. Get with it!!
  2. GFS shutting down the east coast at 234.
  3. Part 1 of this storm didn't really deliver, but it's been ripping here in Lenox to make up for it.
  4. In western Mass, a few models have this NE/SW orientation while others have the opposite, with a warm punch through the Berks.
  5. NAM consistent with several hours of rain through all of western Mass.
  6. Spectrum Channel 1 still showing mostly rain throughout all of Massachusetts, including west and north.
  7. It's amazing to watch the models consistently unable to forecast the pattern until 3 days out. Like clockwork.
  8. Yeah, the track is fine for interior. But the rain/snow line extends way north and west of the system.
  9. Seems like the system will just fall in behind the confluence and still cut.
  10. And now back to snow. Seems like sleet isn't part of the equation with this one in western MA.
  11. Yeah, I just checked the radar, which actually looks decent for a period of snow early today. The second round though looks like rain. Probably a couple inches from the IVT tomorrow.
  12. Expecting mostly rain today here in the Berks, and rather heavy rain. This is fun.
  13. We can usually cash in on some upslope, but it looks minimal with this one. The following two storms sure do look interesting though. The ski resorts badly need some pack.
  14. Looks like only 2-3 here in the Berks. Initial storm track is a bit too close for comfort, and keeps trending stronger, which seems to steal some punch from the trailing energy.
