    Rain/snow mix for a couple hours - mainly snow at better intensity. Temps have been marginal for most events up here this winter. Not typical of course, but the resorts take what they can get.

    Flipped over to white rain in Pittsfield. Going to lose a decent skiff of QPF with the very marginal temps.

    Yeesh. That Connecticut low is going to cut off big precip totals through central/western MA.

    GFS draws the lead vort way west into the main.low, GGEM does the opposite.

    Major shaft for the Berks too. From 14-20 to white rain.

    NAM just caught on to the basic storm dynamics -- it will beef up precip in subsequent runs.

    Looks like the NAM figured it out.

    NAM should really only be run to 48 -- and that's pushing it. Just laughable outside that range.

    So, no complaints about this Euro run? Nearly regionwide pummeling.

    GFS seems to be moving away from the Euro.

    I'm probably wrong, but it still seems like the GFS chases the Euro on most bigger systems.

    Banding through the Berks definitely more impressive than the last storm.

    Didn't you used to be in Lenox? Some good bands moving through, but the few hours of sleet will beat down totals.

    Right on the dividing line -- WWA in Lenox, WSW in Pittsfield.

    NAM even torchier at 700 hPa.

    So the NAM is the warm outlier at this point?

    Someone do an audit of these models -- they're trending in the right direction.
