  1. Confluence in the northeast really might be the key player. If the northern plains energy doesn't slow down and get forced south, this thing won't bomb out. Same issue on CMC.
  2. I'm going to have to go ahead and agree with you there.
  3. What a bomb! That second shortwave dives in just in time.
  4. The big key was getting that northwest energy to not run out ahead of the SW low. That seems locked in now, as it actually fell in on the west side -- though it still got pinched off and left behind. The next piece of energy dropped in a little later than 18z through the Dakotas.
  5. Northern energy now falling in BEHIND the SW energy.
  6. Looks like the northern energy is initially further north and faster.
  7. Looks like Bousquet in the background.
  8. Somewhat off topic, but this is intriguing. https://www.barrons.com/news/google-says-ai-weather-model-masters-15-day-forecast-cdc5793d
  9. 7 in Lenox so far. Not too shabby.
  10. Looks like a solid hit for the Berks. Could get some bonus upslope after the main precip.
  11. Finally have a snow game in football. Lake effect can get wild this time of year.
  12. In Lenox, couple inches of snow on top of yesterdays inch of sleet.
  13. Berks look cooked. Why ruin a perfect skunked season?
  14. It's uncanny. The second the NWS went to a Winter Storm Warning for the southern Berks, the next round of models dropped totals in half. They couldn't have waited one more hour to commit?
