  1. Hope everyone in central MD OK @Eskimo Joe
  2. Yeah, that was like a summer storm line progression here in Silver Spring. Super dark clouds, whipping winds, downpour.
  3. Visibility as low as 250 to 500 ft in the inside the beltway Montgomery and Prince George's area this morning.
  4. Exactly. Another couple weeks of 45 and sprinkles
  5. its a bad day when CAPE and the red taggers don't post a glimmer of hope in the morning
  6. Couple of mangled flakes in the Takoma Park - Hyattsville area this AM around 8, with breeze and raindrops too.
  7. Just curious. Where do you hike? I'm assuming its in AAC. Always looking for good places within a 45 min drive of me to go for walks.
  8. Happy rainsgiving. Time to read the new england sub forum and be jealous!
  9. they knew exactly what they were doing, as these initial new 360 runs produce weenie mania
  10. Well this is a depressing but good summary. I moved inside the beltway (from PA) in December 2010 lol
  11. The below normal Feb temp forecast stood out..when did we last have that??
  12. Yep, this is the most astoundingly boring period of weather I can remember in my 14 years here in the DC area. I don't mind the sunshine at all, but the 75+ temps in early Nov can go. New normal
  13. Broken record with the CPC maps which I will refrain from posting because they always look the same now. But seriously the 8-14 outlook has been wall to wall red for weeks and weeks. Any long-range stuff post D14 suggesting that will change with any indication of reliability?
  14. Yep, got sweaty in a tshirt and jeans on a lunchtime walk. Blergh
  15. Yep. Our bodies adjust to lower temperatures well (that's why those first sunny days in the 60s in spring feel so great). Of course now all we get is 60s, 70s, and apparently 80s from oct-march. I do appreciate the sunshine though.
  16. CPC 8-14 day outlook still has us warm, but also now a bit wetter than avg for the first week of Nov. Pattern change?
  17. Yeah, I'm not complaining. My heat hasn't even kicked on the last few days. Solar gain is great. However, if those maps are red wall to wall come DJF... I'll be sad.
  18. Very dry in Silver Spring. The lawn is still green from the late september wet period + weak October sun, though.
