They had a PR presser to goose prices and then did a stock offering I believe . We should hope the Peer Review as the details of the phase 3 data comes out ..is still very favorable -

Ya, the call option premiums were pricey . Bought MRNA calls and TBIO as well . A lady I train works for them (TBIO) and they use same m rna platform so this sort of validates the platform and makes them a potential buy out candidate if they have their crap together . NVAX hopefully dips I believe they will have the most “useful supply of a successful vaccine “ Fascinating that tech has fallen on good vaccine news since last Monday . Huge valuations now may flow somewhere else . -

The way the roll out goes, Many people that would rather wait A bit longer before trying vaccine ..will have to anyway . It will be given to health care and elderly first (assuming that data is favorable when peer reviewed ..) And then those folks can get their wish and see how it works on others regarding any of their concerns . The only concern I would have is If I was looking to have a baby/ fertility Concerns . I’ve seen cases where those effects take lots of time to create enough evidence that is beyond circumstantial and by then it’s too late , but that is not my personal concern . -

X 100 Haven’t been in this thread a while . looks Fugly , thankfully seasonal forecasting has big holes . Isotherm forecast looks good for Gradient winters in New England , seems to me many will have their hopes up higher than they should bc they are in northern SNE, when you want to me north of Winny . Ill take a lockdown, 20 K in stimulus payments and a three month rental in Jay or Somewhere elevated N of Jackson with people .

Isn’t that what everyone who is decent has to say thou or at least convince themselves , Not like you can say “I wish i could go back and not really have them they were a surprise “ . Not a bad attitude , but to be a good parent I believe you sort of have to think that way . As a trainer , when I speak with women (they speak- I just Listen/ “Therapy” . I will say with high confidence these days ..the overwhelming majority are looking to get out of the house for any reason to have a break from the kids and the husband and the 24/7 Joy of everyone being home all the time. It’s badddd and it’s manifesting in bottles of wine . For those that were hanging on , or it worked bc they each had their own lives , these are extremely trying times. The wine consumption is the smoking gun -

First option if you read carefully is a 14 day home quarantine (in home state) OR 7 day home quarantine and a negative Covid test (when taking own vehicle) that first option is what has kept the travel industry afloat in VT -

Vermont seemed to finally break thru their Covid Inversion Wonder what they will do shortly to address that and what it will mean for resorts / skiing . Maybe they do nothing I will ponder that from the Von Trapp lodge In 36 hours . Might not be able to travel there soon . -

The blame game is always easy to play for anyone pointing different fingers but not in other folks shoes. Still a bad decision is a bad decision. I would guess testing the nurses/ aids every morning prior to shift Would seem like the humane thing to do...or does that cut into LT care profits too much. Seems Stimulus money going toward funding those sort of policies would save the most lives. -

Are they still bringing Covid postive patients back to Elderly care facilites to recover after hopsital stays or just leaving them in there to spread in THAT community -

I really have a heavy heavy feeling in my heart of those folks, who are so isolated , so vulnerable (and the workers subject to huge viral loads) . It is really sickening to me. I wonder how many folks have been pulled from nursing homes since it became obvious these places are ground zero -

I have heard from reliable outlets that less than .5% of USA's total population ( Elderly Care facilities ) are responsible for 40% of the Covid deaths. That would heavily skew the elderly mortality data between those in elderly care facilities and those in other situations (such as living at home or with family) also as viral load maybe a leading cause of severe cases that would sort of emphasize what a gargantuan disaster governors who argued to "discriminate against returning covid positive patients back to their home would violate their rights" . I would like to know what the policy is this year. Ruin the economy, and then you are dependent on Government. That sounds...like the direction the globe is headed. What an opportunity for a Reset of Capitalism . I'm being cynical and somewhat tongue in cheek ..but the fact remains their is tremendous opportunity. A financially depressed globe full of debt stressed soverign nations, depressed industry , highest % of populations collecting pandemic unemployment EVER (and it's not close) and depressed citizens of all ages .. tends to be open to ideas that they otherwise would not be. That doesn't mean such solutions will come to fruition but to ignore that is to ignore some history and human nature . Also great when your counting on a congress that can't pass pandemic aid since August. If folks want to entertain ideas like Biden's "covid man" Osterholm...you can't do it without causing forced poverty of millions MORE unless congress actually agrees to pay folks replacement wages like Osterholm (to his credit emphasizes/ suggests). Because some countries certainly have Tremendously dropped their numbers, so it can be done, the key is the cost has to be minimized from a humanitarian perspective. Knowing the USA and Moscow mitch we will probably/potentially? see a blend of a worst case scenario for lives and economy thou we would see a better chance of a good response (if cases go sky high and economy re-enters recession) -

And they haven’t and this is Washington’s biggest fail compared to what other developed countries are doing several states pay a maximum of 299 or less a week for a worker who’s industry has been decimated by Covid And PPP loans are needed months ago by industries crushed . Also the unemployment rate is a joke many folks are falling off the “go to” unemployment number that governments love to use (U 3) because folks who have been out of a job for more than 6 months are (poof) no longer Counted as being in work force. When you realize 20 million lost their jobs in March and April that 6 months is up and poof unemployment rate looks much rosier . Congress is a embarrassment And both sides have serious issues one doesn’t see much of a problem , only a “V” Recovery and the other over played their hand betting on a blue wave instead of making McConnell vote against a bill that dems and Trump could have agreed at 1.9 T for . Now unless Georgia sees both run offs go Blue there is a slim chance Moscow Mitch passes much above 1 T and who knows if they will even agree to all the parts of the bill (unlikely ) minus a economic recession coming back . So folks will suffer and out side of what happened in Elderly care facilities that is the biggest disgrace of Covid . -

Hippy. One more for you. This guy went from Far left fringe that most centrists dems didn't pay any mind to or hear of (for a decade or so) to now being one of the several fighting to have his hands on the global policy steering wheel. Look at his book...its a good one. Most will just eye roll...The Great Rest (his book) and Build back better have very close parallels. Here's a Idea of Klaus's Thanksgiving and wether you should be sent to the Gulag. Nice fellow . -

Feels good that we have a Guy like Klaus Schwab as the founder of the World economic Forum. Very ambitious Group. Extremely well funded and connected. The W.E.F's call for a Great reset of capitalism (using Covid/ Climate Change/ and Cabron free goals by 2030, and Inequality and sort of twisting them all for effect are the pillars of this very straight forward plan) look up his book on amazon (titled The great reset) ..... This man is very ambitious and may not be successful thou you would be fascinated by just taking a look at his words and speeches. The Build Back Better plan is very close to the initiatives in the Great reset book. Again don't throw the baby out with the bathwater and just take a peek at this fella His latest thoughts lol
