    Well here in mid TN. The rain has started and it’s plentiful.

    Son at ETSU has been under moderate snow for awhile now. I’d say by his pics easily 4”. MRX sure missed their forecast.

    My son at ETSU has a lot of snow coming down & easily 2”. Much more than they called for.

    I’m surprised to hear springs have gotten warmer. I feel they have gotten colder. Especially having colder Aprils. A cold March & April does not surprise me. It seems February has been warmer only to see winter come back in March & April with the dreaded cold rains.

    Sounds like February will be March this year. Up & down like a roller coaster. Lately March has been when we have the severe wx & tornadoes. April to me has seemed quiet in this area. Question is will we have 2 months of March wx.

    So I just need to make it thru the next 2-3 days then warming temps start settling in. Cold & dry can take a hike. Bring me 50-60 with sunshine.

    Does anyone know why this is happening? Allen Media Group, who owns and operates 22 local "big 4" television stations across the US, and also coincidentally, The Weather Channel, has decided to cut costs by eliminating the jobs of every local meteorologist at all of their stations. all of them.

    I am with you. Cold & dry I will take a hard pass on that type of wx. Plus yesterday near 60 was great. My grass really is green after the snow melted off of it. Spring bring it on!

    After yesterday & today wx & the warmer temps. I dread the cold & dry temps coming. I would rather have spring than cold & dry. Another winter of a great pattern going to waste.

    Sure looks like we’re gonna have a great pattern, but only to be left high and dry along with being very cold. Days like today make me ready for spring if it’s gonna be dry and cold, give me spring.

    Dear Euro, Extra credit would be to come NW about 100-125 miles.

    Same for here. Maybe 2.5”. Euro remains King. Total bust imby.

    storm today was an absolute bust for my area. Maybe 2.5”. The model that was less precip was spot on.

    Whichever ever model picked the southern most track seems to have been correct.

    We switched to some sleet but now seems to be going back to snow.

    Here in Smyrna I’d say we will get maybe to 3”. Definitely underperforming for what was called.
