    TWC has temps in 50’s & 60’s starting Sunday.

    Lots of trees down here. Two large ones in between my house & neighbors. Apparently we had a “wake” low develop around Nashville. Never experienced one but man the winds were incredible. With wet grounds it caused a mess.

    If we get snow this week then I will be more than happy to close the book on this winter & welcome spring. Get rid of all the sickness going around. I have been sick the whole month. Ended up getting upper respiratory infection then flu then pneumonia then stomach virus. Sheesh. Crazy winter.

    The worse part for here was the winds last night. Never seen or heard the winds like that here. Apparently it was a “wake” low that created them for 3-4 counties here. My county being one of those. With the soft ground trees came down.

    I’m thinking Memphis is clear of super cells. I believe it’s going to be east to SE of there. Near Jackson TN.

    Nasty. Any strong winds & trees come down easily with the saturated grounds.

    It appears the worse of the flooding is setting up right along I40 including Nashville. Very concerning the amount of rain coming down there. This could get very ugly & life threatening quickly if it stays over that area. Luckily here in Murfreesboro we are just on the edge of it.

    Son at ETSU has been under moderate snow for awhile now. I’d say by his pics easily 4”. MRX sure missed their forecast.

    My son at ETSU has a lot of snow coming down & easily 2”. Much more than they called for.

    I’m surprised to hear springs have gotten warmer. I feel they have gotten colder. Especially having colder Aprils. A cold March & April does not surprise me. It seems February has been warmer only to see winter come back in March & April with the dreaded cold rains.

    Sounds like February will be March this year. Up & down like a roller coaster. Lately March has been when we have the severe wx & tornadoes. April to me has seemed quiet in this area. Question is will we have 2 months of March wx.

    So I just need to make it thru the next 2-3 days then warming temps start settling in. Cold & dry can take a hike. Bring me 50-60 with sunshine.

    Does anyone know why this is happening? Allen Media Group, who owns and operates 22 local "big 4" television stations across the US, and also coincidentally, The Weather Channel, has decided to cut costs by eliminating the jobs of every local meteorologist at all of their stations. all of them.

    I am with you. Cold & dry I will take a hard pass on that type of wx. Plus yesterday near 60 was great. My grass really is green after the snow melted off of it. Spring bring it on!

    I will take that and cash out with the most likely much warmer temps the Euro is advertising in 10 days.
