Curious could not the LP not create its own colder air kinda like a cut off low does sometimes in springs? So whoever is under that LP would have better chances of having snow instead of FZ.

@Carvers GapThank You! I know yesterday I got under a few skins. I honestly when I made the comment about Bam winning the lottery. I was just making fun of him. It was poor judgment & for that I apologize. It’s nice to have a forum like this that everyone looks past our slip ups. I would never not cheer on everyone to get snow. Snow is magical! As I have gotten older I try to always remember we don’t know what that individual is going thru on the other end. I try to always these days show grace. I appreciate you & many others very much in this forum. I appreciate this forum helping others learn & keeping us updated. We look to have chances at the best possible time to score snow.

Funny but not funny story. So the Home Depot local here told me they have emergency orders come in. Well instead of generators & salt. They sent them plastic shovels. Plastic!

I went 2 days ago. Had all my kiddos go also. The lines yesterday I heard were all the way back thru the isles & snaking around the back of the store.

Heavy & the salt destroys the equipment. Keeps me busy with the SS to replace on them.

I know many of my city garages are calling in their crews on Saturday & Sunday. That way if a salt truck goes down they can get it fixed & back up & running.

Especially if anyone is wo power. I love winter with ELECTRICITY!

Boyd 18z ECMWF showing freezing rain area (pink) Saturday afternoon/night/Sunday. As you can see, Nashville is included in this area. Significant ice accretion is looking more possible for Nashville Saturday night. Snowfall totals for event in Nashville around 6 inches. Snow begins in Nashville after midnight Friday night and continues during the day Saturday, transitioning to freezing rain and sleet Saturday afternoon/night into Sunday morning before switching to all snow on Sunday. The blue is rain in the imagery (I would have chosen green). #TNwx #KYwx #ALwx
