  1. I'm not sure about that, it's been mostly sunny here in SW Nassau since 2:30
  2. yes the sun has been out a lot since 2:30 but still very windy
  3. it's a relief that the sun has been out a lot since 2:30, no rain here since yesterday
  4. this is why we need weather modifications to get rid of ULL. I've seen many mets even talk about this, the ULL is the bane of the existence of the meteorological community.
  5. Yes the farther south the better. New England type climates suck so it's best to be as far away from that region as possible.
  6. isn't that ULL *moving out* though, that's what all the TV mets have been saying.
  7. the airports barely missed
  8. everywhere but here.... we had a big storm with dark clouds move in around 7:30 and it lasted until around 8. At the same time, my allergies spiked (no allergies before or after the rain lol) I was looking for rainbows but didn't see any, funny how localized they can be.
  9. Pinatubo influenced Don
  10. haha glad it's not here, almost completely sunny after some clouds earlier today.
  11. Lows:EWR: 40 (1963)NYC: 39 (1963)LGA: 41 (1963)JFK: 41 (1963) The latest 30s ever recorded at Central Park, Tony?
  12. not bad, our lowest high was 55 here
  13. Good, this is exactly what I'd hoped.
  14. it's the best, humans modify everything, nothing is untouchable not even the weather. There was a 30 minute shower yesterday right around sunset, pretty heavy rain, while it rained I had an allergic attack, Before it rained and after it rained everything was fine.
  15. weather modification can't come soon enough for me, the first thing I would get rid of are upper level lows and stuck patterns.
  16. Yes this is why I love our weather vs northern areas and especially New England. We don't have a mud season here and our climate is much closer to what it's like on the Jersey Shore.
  17. Hopefully it misses me, we have a lot of deep blue sky. I got rid of my lawn at this house years ago. I hate grass lol.
  18. hopefully we don't get that here, there are large patches of deep blue sky here, I only see a bank of clouds to my north, so all the bad weather must be up there far away from me lol
  19. Not today though, the sun has been out for awhile and has heated everything up nicely.
  20. I wish lol, that would make it a lot easier. I do have a giant hot fan that blows off air from my 16 core cpu though but it doesn't add enough heat to warm the room more than a few C (but it's why I sometimes have to turn on my a/c in the winter when the house heat plus the cpu heat become too much.)
  21. 70 is okay if you like to wear a lot of clothes lol
  22. Yes, we destroyed that little pest of a storm!! It's been getting brighter here too. I'm so glad we live in the Mid Atlantic and not muddy New England.
  23. no it's absolutely amazing. nice and toasty and best of all, dry. It also destroys all allergies and completely dries up my nasal passages.
  24. Yes, I think this is accurate. Monday is the best day but the other two days are pretty good too and at least partly sunny.
  25. JFK: 92 (2021) the good old days
