How long did it snow for? I love daytime snowstorms. -
This will be a bigger deal than a hurricane down there. Winter Storm Warning criteria must be 1 inch for them lol.

How much did you get in the storm last February that dropped 6.2 inches at JFK? There was a narrow swath of heavy snow but I think it covered at least half of Long Island.

I think we'll be fine on the south shore with arctic air pressing in, even back in the 80s and 90s we did pretty well with these, getting at least 4"

Cooper's Hawk, I think? The first time I've ever been able to photograph them, it's their third visit. Fuji S1 at 2400mm EFL (50x optical zoom plus 2x intelligent digital zoom).

they also averaged the most snow during the peak period of Long Island snow between 02-03 and 15-16, averaging close to 35 inches of snow.

or somewhere between there and Mt Sinai, they have some elevation there. It's always between Port Jeff and Rocky Point

Why doesn't Upton or Brookhaven or some other advanced scientific center create a model that's only for east coast storms? They are important enough that it's well worth it.

It looked pretty angry..... I resized it from 16 MP down to 2 MP and that was enough.
