    Just my own personal observation here but so amazing that we have all these fancy weather models and hi-tech tools in 2019, and man is no closer to being able to determine precisely what , when, or exactly where the weather will be. Only the Creator knows what the future holds. At 5 p.m. it was still 31 degrees and not even a complete dusting and 2 days ago we were under a Winter Storm Watch. Failure to launch in NE TN valley.

    Non using letters??? LOL! I think they meant anafrontal. A front at which the warm air is ascending the frontal surface up to high altitudes. With anafronts, precipitation may occur to the rear of the front and is sometimes associated with cyclogenesis.

    I certainly agree with your description of the snowflakes. Those were huge. The ones in 1998 were longer, we all thought those looked like chicken feathers.

    As soon as the rates slowed down temperature went back up 2° it's now a light drizzle.

    Temp dropped 6 degrees in last hour in Colonial Heights.

    Interesting how far the weather forecast was off today. It's 36 degrees at 1:23 p.m. with light snow flakes in Gray, Tennessee

    Definitely possibly. In NE TN, it is not unusual to go below zero.

    Huge storm. Can't decide if it is shaped more like a tornado or an ostrich.
