Wow, either everyone's drinking their sorrows away, or they're wondering if the they will wake up from this nightmare, LOL.
SE Michigan and NW Ohio will probably be joining you all tomorrow as we watch this thing fade away into CLE.....
I'm sitting here in NW Ohio looking at one of the best storm wide radars i've seen in a long time. It's hard for me to believe we are gonna get 2" out of this. The thing would have to littereally fall to pieces like now. Any thoughts on this?? Is there more phasing going on?
Is it just me, or does the 00Z NAM have less moisture stripping away from convection down south. Seems like a much healthier DEFORMATION band setting up.
According to the 18Z GFS, this thing is just getting started with more coming later tomorrow?? Some of the local offices hinting at this actually happening, but has the GFS now confirmed it??
I'm scratching my head as well. I"m no Met, but i've got this feeling that everyone's been burned so bad, they are all taking the conservative route.
Is it the lack of dynamics that they think will keep everything low??
Sorry for you all of you in the Western sub, but for us to score(outside of a bowling ball), the 12Z is what we would need for the Eastern Sub to score. Postively-tilted/east/weak-er.
Not much noise from the Ohio crew but we are on the fringes of our first legit snow fall of the season. Not what I pictured for our first snow storm but I'll take it. I like how things are looking upstream. My guess is we end up with 6"+ in NW Ohio.
On the door step of this, the King, and we are complaining?? LOL. Man, what a bunch of spoiled brats.
Pertaining to the Northern Sub folks of course. I"m at the southern edge of this and would gladly take half of it.
