  1. Wednesday is still holding my attention. KBUF really does not seem overly interested but the RGEM keeps playing this up run after run. Nothing impressive but wants to keep a lake band over BUF most of the day Wednesday. Specs all look marginal at best but the fact the RGEM is keeping this in play bears some watching!
  2. Nice chart. I was just thinking that earlier how it seemed like almost every home game had weather impacts.
  3. Wednesday? KBUF: LONG TERM /WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/... A ridge of high pressure along the east coast will provide a dry start for the day Wednesday, with a southwesterly return flow also bringing warmer weather. RGEM:
  4. Got a nice fluff bomb dropped over me last night. Couldn’t pass up a midnight jeb walk around South Buffalo. So peaceful at night when no ones around…
  5. That meso low has been stalled spinning around Huron for over 6 hours now. It just keeps going. Would love to be in the middle of whatever the hell is going in there!
  6. Yeah not often downtown itself is the bullseye. Looks like shes finally about to veer, your turn BW
  7. wow yeah you might be right. thats my task this week is to get this list updated! the way these north town guys cry how they don't get big storms anymore and we really had that many top 20 setting events at KBUF during "the drought"?
  8. I think she's just about done. Mid lake single band is falling apart into cellular pulses, and the lack of any real penetration inland is wasting whatever the band had left. Just imagine if the winds overnight were a little less intense and the winds tonight just had a little kick to them, could have really bumped up totals. Rates in the heart of the band tonight are just not that impressive.
  9. Part 1 of that Huron meso low loop. Gonna have to see if I can splice them together, thing is still spinning up!
  10. 16.5” at 8pm… it will be close! Band looks so good over the lake crazy it’s just drying out so fast once it’s over land.
  11. Anyone else seeing this over Huron? I’ll snag a loop once it’s done but there is what I describe as a fully rotating meso sinking south. Inflow feeder bands coming from every direction???
  12. If they had 15” at 5pm I think they could make a run to 20”. Watching the loop almost looks like it’s coming to a stop and making a small kink north again. Think this locks in over downtown to airport for a few more hours. Inland extent really seems to have taken a dump with the winds dying down. Under some nice returns here but still only 1” hr rates. This has certainly been an entertaining event to watch unfold!
  13. Glad most of the north town guys got to cash in today. Cutoff on the south side was crazy. Left work at Harlem Walden at 5 and had roughy 14” was hard finding a good spot to measure without drift impacts. Depth seems like it held close to 12” at Harlem William but then just the short drive to the next intersection at Clinton and was under 6”. Came home here to only 4.5” on the board but can’t complain when you can “chase” at work. - BW great shots downtown. Wanted to do the same but just had no energy left after work.
  14. Yeah except it’s usually us with the sun while BW is getting buried…
  15. Thruway Plaza Harlem and Walden. Going to venture out to measure on my lunch break lol
  16. Easy 3”/hr rates here right now. Venture out to drop a ruler in a bit but gotta be getting close to 10” already!
