  2. Worcester, PA. 1 3/4" 30.9 - roads are covered.
  3. Worcester, PA. snow / sleet mix. More sleet than snow at the moment, but it goes back and forth. About 5". 23.7 degrees
  4. In Worcester it is Grange Ave. Worcester is eastern Montco. Skippack is western Montco. Not sure what line it follows in Towamencin etc.
  5. In no way am I saying the accumulated ice map as shown a few posts above will verify (or even close to it), but i feel there is way too little pubic awareness of what COULD be in store. If we get above .10 of ice then there could be a few power issues. Above .25 and some significant issues. Above .50 then ????????. I know the media is cautions to say much until it becomes "likely", and there is the issue of a huge range of difference between south Jersey and say Berks County - all in the same Philadelphia viewer coverage area, but if someone is caught off guard and they are 24 to 36 hours without power I think there will be a lot of "I wish I had known.
  6. Worcester, PA. 27.7 - freezing drizzle . Had been up to 29.1. Dew Point 11.5.
  7. Worcester, PA. 4.75 "' Some flakes are over 2" diameter. Not sure I have ever seen any so large (and I am not young). Beautiful picture outside.
  8. Worcester, PA. 32 and heavy snow. All roads (and trees) covered. 2" and accumulating fast.
  9. Worcester, Pa. Moderate snow. 29 degrees. I estimate 10.0" considering compression with the extensive sleet this morning.
  10. Eastern and Western Montco are the two NWS zones for Montgomery county. Happens to go along Grange Ave. They always split the forecast there. I happen to live on the edge. My home is in eastern and looking out the window I see western. Sometimes the forecast is the same, but not at all unusual for watches and warnings to be issued with one of the zones and not the other. Not sure that explains the earlier question, but that is how it works. I expect they are busy and grouped the two zones into one "warning" to cover both.
  11. Worcester, PA. 28.9 Moderate sleet. about 6" for the storm total.
  12. Worcester, PA. 4" - still snowing, but lighter than an hour ago. No wind. 21.7 degrees
  13. 16:55 hours - Worcester, PA. 1.5" Moderate snow - has been continuous for about 4 hours. 23.2 degrees - down from mid morning of 27.7. Optimistic, but concerned about the NAM. All roads ( even treated) and grass covered.

  15. Worcester, PA. 2.75" - 62.6 degrees - several water rescues in Montgomery County, PA. Power out - on portable generator - not looking forward to that squall line in Lancaster county coming through.

  20. Geoff Cornish - on air meteorologist at Accu Weather and my oldest son - explains the need for on air meteorologists to not wear certain colors. https://www.accuweather.com/en/accuweather-ready/accuweather-forecasters-school-of-weather/716916?utm_campaign=AccuWeather&utm_content&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR04Kvu5Xxuk4WTAkvTVHd3Rg7Vm_CCBe2xqwsaLeSxKQquqFaEBxdeWROk
  21. Worcester, PA. 7.56" rain. That is pretty much consistent with neighboring reports. Some higher and some lower. Highest gust was 37.6 mph. Still showery and breezy, but I expect that will be pretty close to the numbers for the storm. Rain may go a little higher, but not much. I do have an area about 2 miles from here that has poles and trees down. Localized damage. (pic attached) Power flickered once, but never lost it. Multiple water rescues in the area, trees down, roads closed. Most - if not all the flooded roads in my area have drained off. Probably a few near streams that have not gone down enough.
  22. Worcester, PA. 3.77" of rain. No winds to speak of. More heavy bands coming in.
  23. I took a picture of it while on a walk. My pic was less than an hour ago, but I think it is the same as you reference.
