  1. Spaceweatherlive is saying we are at G5 now.
  2. Yeah it is hard to say. Storms pulse up and down so I wouldn't give up yet. The weather looks favorable here so I am going to try anyway. The question is will the IMF tip south again?
  3. Well it isn't looking good if SWPC is accurate. Storming seems to have stopped for now.
  4. Yeah that is definitely no good. I will still hold out hope.
  5. Yeah we may be scrambling for leftovers at dusk. I only hope it can hold on. It really doesn't get much better than that. G4 right now.
  6. Looks like we have chance tonight with some breaks and a G3 possible.
  7. As always this one will be a fight against the clouds here in VT
  8. Yeah Kp is 6 and unfortunately clouds. I went out to try and instead ended up with this:
  9. A full halo CME is on its way to Earth from a C9 flare last night but it will get here just in time for the clouds to be back.
  10. Yeah unfortunately the KP is down to 3 so I think any chance is done at this point.
  11. Yeah it won't happen because skies are clear here tonight.
  12. We have better sky conditions so I hope so but I would say unlikely. However with that said last night's event was not really forecast either.
  13. Nice shots! My phone alerted me but I didn't go out because it was cloudy. Damn, looks like I missed one
  14. I am sure the show would have been far more impressive had the storm peaked after sunset when the Bz was below -20 at one point.
  15. Thank you. The shooting conditions were rough with 30-40 mph wind gusts at times.
  16. Here are a few shots. To the naked eye they were a little brighter than the Milky Way at its peak but the color was definitely pretty clear. Obviously with longer exposures you get a brighter image. The clouds moved in shortly after these were shot and that was it for the night.
  17. Caught a nice arc tonight but not really and pillars or curtains. The clouds moved in so I am sure it improved after. Will post some shots soon.
  18. I agree. The Aurora pic you see as my profile is one I took with a Kp of 6 or so. What are your thoughts on this thing holding for another 3 hours or so? The main issue here is finding enough breaks in the clouds.
  19. It was cloudy here overnight so we didn't have a shot. There is a chance this evening but not sure the storm will hold up.
