  1. If the 12z guidance looks good across the board, I could see LWX nudging the advisory another tier of counties south.
  2. Man could you imagine even like 0.3" ZR on the trees then a flash freeze into the single digits with wind?
  3. That is an image from Member 41 of the 12z Euro ensemble at HR 96, 12z Sunday. It is showing everyone north of US 50 below freezing at the surface. It's a great image, but just one out of 51 members.
  4. I think @Bob Chill needs to start a separate thread for the weekend event. Only him though because he's magical.
  5. Not sure if already mentioned, and yes it's the NAM so take it for what it's worth, but the 12z run appears to be a bit weaker and further south with the weekend event. It also seems like it wants to give a solid front end thump north of I-66.
  6. Valentines Day 2007 storm comes to my mind.
  7. Another 100 mile shift south would be great.
  8. Cold doesn't look nearly as impressive for early next week on the Euro either. It's a pretty awful run.
  9. Would be nice to get a consolation 1" - 3" on the backside with the deep freeze. Cold and dry is meaningless unless there's at least a few inches of snow on the ground.
  10. UK is the most progressive of the 12z suite so far which allows it to track further south. Dr. No should be along with his wet blanket shortly.
  11. 06z NAM/Euro look okay. Would be snow-on-snow for many.
  12. ^Another 100 to 150 miles east shift please.
  13. Clear skies, fresh snow pack and light winds. Sure formula to bust colder than guidance. Might see some single digit readings even.
  14. Week 4 and 5 on the weeklies made me blush.
  15. That changeover and snow amount would rival Jan 27, 2011. Paste bomb in about 9 hours that crippled DC and Baltimore.
  16. If this works out then I nominate @Bob Chilland @nj2va become our unofficial thread starters for the remainder of this winter.
