  1. 80% on the meso: https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/2020/md1310.html
  2. The line trying to work east from Frederick appears to be gusting out.
  3. 33 and RA is never glorious
  4. Yup, beefy SBCAPe/DCAPE = localized woo storms.
  5. Looks like a lot from MT...maybe part of their new statewide mesonet that's kicking up?
  6. Warrenton, Fredericksburg, and Stafford all hit the century mark.
  7. I hope we do it. I really do.
  8. As soon as you said that DCA just went CLR on the 5min obs.
  9. If it weren't for the clouds, DCA would be AOA 100 by now.
  10. Andrews at 97 too, CHO at 99.
  11. Too many clouds for DCA to hit 100 today methinks.
  12. Going with a warm July/August in these parts anymore seems like the persistence/climo forecast. It's a virtual lock. Wonder if we're 60 or 70 on Christmas this year.
  13. DCA back up to 97...IAD also at 97.
  14. 5 min ob has DCA at 97°. We have a shot if the wind shifts to some kind of westerly component.
  15. What are your thoughts about the Vantage Vue? Is it easy to set up and reasonably accurate with temperatures?
  16. Unofficial temp in the shade in Reisterstown is 97°. We don't have as many clouds as down towards DC and there's a bit of a breeze trying to burp up. It sucks outside, but it isn't the end of the world ATM.
  17. Hearing a rumor that Cecil and Garrett counties are going to be added to LWX CWA at some point this year. Can anyone confirm?
  18. The one thing about LWX that I cannot understand is they will hand out SVRs and winter products like candy during marginal events, but are super stingy on heat products.
  19. Saw the Minotaur IV launch in Chincoteague yesterday. 10/10 would watch again.
  20. Go east of SD and it gets hot fast. During summer El Centro gets into the low 100s regularly.
  21. Tony and I think Chris Martz were going around about BWI having some rogue sidewalk that was setting everything off too warm. I'm not sure if it was really or not but it seemed a bit silly. It was almost a daily thing when other sites were within a degree or two of BWI.
  22. Last year he was frothing at BWI.
