Finished yesterday with .45" of rain.
@Mount Joy Snowman - decisive W for you yesterday.

Really hope that line of rain moving east holds together and hits the Rou'ville. At least the southern part of the line is healthy looking.

Nice storm complex missing me 10 miles to the north
Even down this far the lightning show is quite impressive.

Sounds like a lot of damage in northern Maryland this evening. I sincerely hope EJ's home and car didn't sustain too much damage.

The two words are Great Valley. Lol. My wife wants to move because we enjoy growing stuff but I am not giving up my under 3 interest rate.
It's just uncanny how many close misses you've had.
Still under a band of stratifiform rain here. Approaching a half inch for the day. Wish it was a different story. Truly.

Great storm…probably the best of the summer here! Nice shelf cloud blew through with gusty winds first. Then heavy rain, some lightning/thunder (although I was surprised there wasn’t more)…it’s about over here and have .60 in the rain gauge! Much needed!
The shelf cloud here was epic - I thought I was going to get smoked. The rain portion was welcome but not overly impressive.

@Itstrainingtime is getting hammered - for his sake I hope in more ways than just the storm
Actually less than half of yesterday's storm. Temp is currently 73 with clearing skies after receiving .32" of rain.

90 on the nose. Running pretty close to yesterday's numbers.

I ended up with .65" of rain yesterday. Exactly 1" has fallen this week.
88 here at 11:45am.

I am surprised that we are down to 78 here alrrady....still fairly thick cloud cover. Only 3 degrees to go to bypass our low last night. HRRR has my area getting into the 60's now.
76 here - but that's up 4 degrees since my lowest temp during the storm.

Another broken line trying to stay together and threaten the LSV in an hour or two.
I've been watching that line for several hours...unfortunately, it's losing it's punch. As of now at least.

Welp in the perfect spot yet again for two beautiful cells that went right overhead. Been lucky over here lately. Looks like it’s gonna be close to another .6”, and I’ve also hit my low for the day at 75. Poor MU haha, but man, that sh$t happens to everyone in the weather game.
He was calling for isolated storms, and at least as of now that's exactly what's happened. The only severe warned storm in the LSV just happened to hit the campus.

I was just on the Northwest River Trail biking a couple days ago. Hopefully no one got caught on the trail in that sucker lol
My wife and I have gotten caught many times out on the trail, however there were 2 times when it was legit scary. As you know, a ton of trees along the way and we've witnessed more than a few come crashing down close to us. Since we're walkers, on days like today I'll keep us within a mile or so of the parking lot we use so that if something does pop, we're not too far from the car.

I'm actually at my office about 4 miles down the road from MU and all of the parking lot lights are on here - I'm on the edge of that cell and it looks NASTY towards MU...

Central PA Summer 2023
in Upstate New York/Pennsylvania

That is an incredibly sad depiction. And it also perfectly follows the seasonal norm - almost everyone gets wet from that except for the one that needs it most.
