Also, there were a couple of days earlier this week where the humidity wasn't low but it was certainly tolerable enough for approaching mid-July.

Totally agree - most forecasts that I saw was for a very hot July and August. 

Last week was undoubtedly humid, not overly hot and not atypical for summer.

I honestly feel different after July 4th - I feel like there's light at the end of the heat tunnel.

September heat messes me up...on one hand, it's frustrating when it's hot and it should be starting to cool off. On the other hand, there's a level of satisfaction knowing that it won't last long.

I did not realize how dry areas like central and western Cumberland county has been - I thought it was confined to south of the 'pike but I guess not.

I mentioned late last week, my yard had turned brown...and it took 2-3 days for it to happen. Amazing how quickly it happens this time of year. 

I watered everything well on Tuesday evening...I got home from work last evening and my wife was going on about how dried out the veggies were already.

Just tickled the 90.0 mark for all of one minute. 89.5 currently. 

I have a hard time calling it a 90 degree day when the first digit isn't a 9.   

87 at 1:05pm - slowly creeping towards 90. Not getting much past that today.
