I’m making ribeyes on the grill later today for the wife and I, along with asparagus and potatoes. Just made some orange crushes for us as well. Off and running over here ha. #SundayFunday
That will be a great meal. Enjoy!

Reading all of this has convinced me to fire up the grill this evening. Brats and burgers. HR peeps can't afford fancy ass steaks. :]

Edit: Latest guidance suggests the storms may form over eastern Lancaster County and move away from us, just out of reach. Would be fitting.
Indeed it would.
Still hope left to reach 5" for May, June and July combines. I'm at 4.45"

The GFS came off its "High" horse but now the EC took its place for Tue (though has 80's at MDT for 2PM tomorrow) with 101 at 18Z Tue.
It's going to be hot. Will it be very hot or extremely hot though?

My station is evidently correct. Full sun and reading 83. The mercury thermometer in the shade under our patio roof is 82. I guess Tamaqua has just become one of the warmer locations in the region.
I'm sitting at 88.3 currently.

CTP knocking those temps down - last night my forecast high for Tuesday was 103, now just 98. Relief!

High of 88 today, 86 now with the world's smallest thundershower pointed at me. Do I get .01 or more likely nothing.
There's a little train of 3 showers heading your way.

High today was 94.

So my high today is 94 (93.7) so far, which seems quite a bit higher than the forecast, and higher than every other official station (Allentown, Lehighton, Philly, etc)
Makes me wonder if the fan isn't working properly, or if my sensor is off.
I reached 93 earlier.

The corn around here is already very tasseled. Oooooof
Farm down the road from me posted on their stand to buy corn early - crop will be much smaller than normal and the season will be significantly abbreviated.

Holy....just looked at my home therm. 79 in Rou. I am punting 90 in Rou with prejudice.
2nd and 1 here - current temp is 88.3. 90s should be a formality.

Nice score. A few days ago Lanco was dry according to most.
What a colossal bust in Philly - forecast to get up to 4" and we had a few rounds of drizzle. LOL

Low of 73 with .1” of total rainfall. I’ll take it but it’s mostly another fail. They are adding up.
Elliott did exceptionally well with the weekend forecast. All week he insisted that any rain this far west would be negligible. He stated on Monday that the models would correct east at the last minute. After his temp forecast bust he nailed yesterday.

Heavy band of rain now moving toward the West Shore. Radar has really improved for a lot of the LSV over the past 2 hours. That band is heavier than what's falling in the Philly area.

Not official sorry I am just guessing with the radar. Since your going let'em play! Your the good luck charm.
I think they'll play. Tomorrow's game is a 4:05 start, to play 2 they'll have to move that game back and start tonight's game at 12:30-1:00 or make it a twi-nighter. And they don't want to lose the revenue from a single admission.

Not too long ago. Gerrit Cole.
Ah yes, I knew he was all star starter worthy but didn't remember if he got the nod or not.

Looks like Phillies might have a day off. DH tomorrow.
Is that official? I have tickets for tonight and don't see it on their website.
Would it be a split DH or single admission?

Yep, and that area is growing in size and intensity as it moves up right into the city.
ABC27 taking it on the chin again.

Who was the last starting pitcher in the MLB All Star game from Pittsburgh?
They got themselves one this year.
