    Watched the rain split and go north and south as it approached over the weekend. Managed to get a tiny lone cell after the main even to swing through and bring about 0.1" of rain. Other than that pretty much missed out on everything else. That D1 drought is going to be approaching D2 levels pretty soon.

    I got enough drops of rain to leave a few water spots on the windshield, but the pavement was never wet.

    Does the summer trend continue or does this one finally bring rain? GRR isn't taking sides on this one.

    Nope, missed me by about 1-2 miles to the north and east.

    I am right on the edge of the darkest brown spot in the SE corner of Ottawa just in from the Allegan and Kent County lines.

    I am closer to the lake than you. We missed out on the showers you referenced.

    At this point thinking it might take something tropical heading due north to bring anything meaningful this summer. It is so dry here the corn is shriveling up during the day and the weeds are even starting to dry up.

    The family and I spent the day enjoying the 70 degree water at Holland State Park today. Normally don't see that until later in July.

    The entire state has had SO much rain? Holland, Grand Rapids, and Muskegon are all below normal this month continuing the long term dryness.

    Peak gust of 58mph here.

    Solid C here. Colder temps allowed the below normal snowfall to stick around. If it wasn't for the lake this would have definitely been an F.

    Was it cloudy at the other sites?

    Some very light snow flakes falling this morning. Not accumulating but a couple of months ago this would have been mood flakes. Now it is just a nuisance given the time of year and prior warmth.

    It isn't just the SW. Draw a diagonal line from there to Minnesota then go 500 miles either side of that. Many parts of this sub forum are pretty dry also.
