    Exactly, or say like earlier this week, I was casually mentioning to people that there’s a good chance of at least a few inches of snow… ”Yeah, but my app… “! Then yesterday… “hey, you were right again…then the question quickly becomes “how much l”?!

    The people the rely on the apps drive me crazy. ”But my app says there’s only a 42% chance at 3 pm”! I just roll my eyes & tell them they are auto programmed & change by the hour & should rarely be relied upon. The apps are only good for radar imho.

    Yesterday, the Euro was still way off. Interesting to note that that the Euro does not always lead the way. The GFS also had minimal interest until yesterday. The Canadian & Euro AI have lead the way this event by far.

    Getting Back to the current storm… The 6z Euro had its best run yet by far for the LSV with 6 inches or more for MDT, York & Lancaster.

    6z ICON gets it done for most of CTP.

    It’s good to see the 0z Euro get more on board for Warning level snow potential in the LSV.

    0z Canadian is still amped north & west. LSV mauling, but a little too close for comfort for the far southern tier. The rest of CTP will be rooting on this run. Canadians won’t budge.

    0z GFS is a LSV Warning level event crowd pleaser.

    ICON at even 10-1 ratio is a really nice middle ground solution for the LSV.

    @TSSN+ I see that you are from Hanover & I see that you are taking some heat in the other thread… Why not post some more up here in potential marginal situations for DC ? We have many posters up here from the southern tier of PA.

    I haven’t watched wrestling since I was in 8th grade… Anyway, here are the NAMs. They seem to generally agree with CTP’s call of 4 to 6 at this time for the LSV.

    Looks to be in line with CTP at this range. The HRRR is jumpy up until less than 24 hours out.

    I think that’s a good call at this range given the current model spread & speed of the system.
