    The run I looked at was the latest on WB. Let’s take it a week or 2 at a time. Remember just 2 weeks ago, the good pattern was supposed to break down around the 20th, but now we are starting our coldest week yet with a Warning snow event. Long way to go for the seasonal trend. Also, near normal to slightly above temps can still produce snow through mid February with well timed events.

    30 day Period on the GEFS shows below normal temperatures in our region as well. Note, the GEFS extended only goes out 35 days, so this map is from January 23 to February 22.

    One quick check of the long range for February on the latest Euro Weeklies shows below normal temperatures in our region despite not the ideal pattern look at times. I’m encouraged because the Weeklies in the longer term are usually not generous with showing cold whatsoever.

    0z HRDPS short res Canadian looks good for the LSV as well.

    I’ve seen too much over the years at MDT… Put me down for 4.9” & .39 precip.

    Fantastic photo. Yes, the ice was impressive looking out as I drove through Wormleysburg this afternoon. Just imagine what the ice will look like after the frigid temps this week!
