  1. Ahh ok…haven’t been in this thread much. Makes sense.
  2. Move to CT…we haven’t seen 87 degrees in 5 weeks. And I’m inland.
  3. What you posted was the 0z from what I saw. Or am I missing something?
  4. Be nice to have something like that happen…but as Scott said, it’s still a ways out there. Hopefully something comes of it. Maybe the 0z was that twinkle out there that the real big ones produce way out in time, as Tip likes to mention? We can only hope.
  5. Yup, to Rays point, it’s still a ways out, so that’s the biggest thing that plays against it. But stranger things have happened too.
  6. So true…but maybe a 950mb instead of a 960..lol.
  7. I feel the same way…the last 4-5 weeks have been outstanding to say the least. Gorgeous warm days and cool cool nights. Hard to beat. In fact, it can’t be beat if you’re looking for nice weather.
  8. LR is a crapshoot. This one(tropical) Mother nature fooled the pros.
  9. How’d this current hurricane season workout from what the LR forecasts had? Ya…I wouldn’t let that thing bother me too much. If that model had a frigid winter showing at this range, I’d be skeptical too. It’s one piece of guidance in early September, nothing more.
  10. It’s so interesting/ironic when the weather does exactly the opposite of what was forecast. This is a perfect example of that.
  11. Also, no talk about anything else either. Height of the season, and the forecasted historic activity, gonna go down like the Hindenburg. Definitely a Humbling state of affairs for all the forecasters. Lots to learn.
  12. 36 hrs…not one post. Tells us all we need to know.
  13. Unless something gets up near here…it’s pretty yawn worthy, so I have to agree with Scott. We need some action in SNE.
  14. I don’t think they live here, or are on this forum though…
  15. Who frieken cares…it’s 1600 miles away from us. Let me know when we have some action up here Wiz... then we’ll talk.
