  1. C’mon…you know the deal this summer and now this fall. We get drenched, and then the on camera METS talk about how gorgeous it’s gonna be for what looks like a 7-10 day stretch…then that 7-10 day stretch turns into 2-3 days, and the rain is back again. Been just like clockwork since June.
  2. This would have been a humdinger for the western N.E. peeps in winter….just was relentless precip from overnight right through 6 pm.
  3. Over 3” here…soaked. Ryan Hanrahan just said they’re tracking more rain for Friday lol. So no 5 days of dry here.
  4. 1.2” is still a good drink. We’ll be up near 3” if this keeps up the rest of the afternoon. It doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon.
  5. Lol…exactly. Man this would be a big hit in the winter for sure. But dam, it doesn’t want to stop even for a minute.
  6. Poor kid weighs about 115lbs….he’s always cold.
  7. Just keeps going…holy smokes. Upper end of Moderate rain and 54 degrees.
  8. This is some very steady and continuous moderate rain…hasn’t flinched a hit since before dawn…and continues. Ophelia or what’s left is delivering.
  9. Was thinking the same thing…great precip set up for SNE/ and CT. This would have been an awesome three days of snows that gradually got steadier and heavy as it progressed.
  10. Yes, I’ve been noticing alot here too of late…signs of a big winter incoming lol.
  11. Nice CCB look to the precip coming in to CT this morning. But it’s nasty here this morning with mod-heavy rain on this dark Monday am.
  12. We knew it was gonna produce for a lot of us S of Pike.
  13. Ya it’s a dreary day for sure…damp, raw and rainy autumn afternoon.
  14. Bottom line, after last yrs disaster, the bar is set incredibly low. So anything even somewhat close to normal will seem like a huge deal. A lil over 12 inches of snow for the entire season here last year….unreal.
  15. Ok maybe we gave it too much credit to soon lol….from a tenth of an inch at 6z, to an inch and half plus here at 12z…in one run….that’s a pretty big dam jump. It multiplied its output by a factor of 15 times.
  16. Goofus beating the euro more all the time…my how times have changed.
  17. It’s all good bro. Maybe it’ll be a lousy year for the leaves. We’ll know for sure in a couple more weeks. Sometimes it can surprise us as we approach peak. All the rain may throw it off this year though…
  18. Depends what matters to you too. As was mentioned before about nobody really caring if it’s .75-1” or 3” with regard to rain…it’s still a rainy damp weekend. And the controversy yesterday and Thursday was about maybe it being dry today, and being able to salvage the weekend. Sure the modeling performance matters…but it matters more for us when it’s snow, and as silly as it sounds, it’s true. But I understand your point Luke, and it does look like, at least today the modeling that showed less accumulation of rain, is more correct. But that may not be the case tomorrow into Monday.
  19. It’s gonna rain S of the pike…I think that’s the biggest takeaway, and has been for the last couple days. Whether it’s an inch, or 3+ is the bigger question. But wet is wet.
  20. Dam, I hope not lol. Let’s hope we get some decent winter storms this year as Don just eluded to…where we can pretty much all participate in the fun. I certainly don’t need to jack…but we want to be included in the game.
