2” of rain looks like an easy feat here…those 4-5” totals are definitely eye opening if they pan out for us WOR peeps.

Ya, if this cuts west, then it could be pretty windy for sure here. That’s the big question at the moment for bigger winds here.

Let’s see what crazy solution the NAM brings shortly? Or if it tames down.

Ironically, this looks to be more rain for here(central/WOR CT) than last week…I guess we’ll have to see how it shakes out.

Oh ya, down there I agree completely they could blow 60 mph. Ya, that rain is a little excessive for this area…especially so due to last weeks deluge. Ground is saturated already.

If we get more rain here than a week ago…that’s gonna have some flooding implications. Last week had zero wind here…let’s see what this brings with regard to wind. And regarding Phil’s map…he has 50-60 mph winds here…that’s Isaias type winds here, I’m not buying that right now. The big rain for CT I do buy, but not those big winds…..? Maybe this will be the very rare time the winds do roar.

Since they changed the name from global warming, to CC; perhaps a better term/change might be Climate Variance? Or maybe Climate Cycling? But then that wont carry the negative connotations that some political personnel would want. Great posts my man.

Two months before that starts even beginning to happen. So Relax…changes are a foot, and just in time for peak climo it appears. January and February are great winter months in SNE….we’re gonna do ok.

I understand your disappointment..we all do. But if that’s the case for Tolland..then you just got lucky. Cuz sometimes it just doesn’t snow in December in SNE. I’ve seen it many times. It sucks. But it’s true. Hoping for a little something after/during the Xmas week for all he us. Hang tough…we’ll get through it.

But sometimes it doesn’t though…And that’s what you are missing here. Yes, we’d all love some snow in December, but many times that doesn’t happen. This looks to be another year where that is the case. I love ya…but sometimes your ideas are skewed my friend..and then you try to push those ideas as if they are fact and what to expect on to our climo, and that is usually not the case. And if January is good…you’ll forget all about the bad December. And if February is good..it’s a done deal that winter in 23-24 was a good winter…and indeed not ruined like you say, because of a bad December. See how we just showed you the light..

Where did I say Ban? I said nothing of the sort. We know it’s ugly now, I agree. We’ve known for a while this was going to happen. Nothing wrong with pointing that out…that’s not the issue. You and I go where there is snow…so if it doesn’t snow here, I’m not devastated as some are. I don’t think we rat like last year. But Other than that…. whatever.

Bottom line is, it’s 12/16. Winter doesn’t officially start for another week. Where’s all the talk about this big wind nor’easter for tomorrow night? Biggest in 10 yrs lol.
