  1. The evening before thanksgiving? So what was it the day of thanksgiving? 9?
  2. That’s more fake news. Ya 3 years ago 10/30/21 was so long ago. And mid November of ‘18 was so long ago too(very nice SWFE). It happens randomly every so often.
  3. Absolutely Steve. Some of These people are hype driven, and are just looking for attention. Trying to tell us that November is a winter month…it’s comical.
  4. Well the good news there his, it can’t get anymore quiet than it’s been since mid August(10 weeks) lol. So if anything, you’d think we gotta get a little more active going forward.
  5. Yup, it’s about 3.5-4 weeks that the sunrises keep getting later after the earliest sunset.
  6. Great picture John! Very cool. Ya, I was like the math wasn’t adding up..or I’m missing something. Now it makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
  7. John she doesn’t look 4 there…And she’d be 14 now, if she was 4 there. Or am I missing something?
  8. Ya, I’m not remembering that here..must have been pretty much nothing over this way.
  9. I’m an educator, and was then too. We used to have school on Wednesday before Thanksgiving(1/2 day). The last 10 years or so, we have Wednesday before Thanksgiving off now. But in 02 we had 1/2 day on Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
  10. That’s the way I remembered it too. But now you say Tuesday night into Wednesday. I guess we got school cancelled that Wednesday then…(when we used to have school on the Wednesday before thanksgiving). Maybe that’s why I’m thinking it was a Wednesday night?
  11. Lol…We had a good SWFE in mid November 2018. It hapoens. Just not that often. I mean we had snow on 10/30/20 here…2-3”. So it’s not like this doesn’t happen. But it should not be counted on or expected to happen.
  12. That would have been a Tuesday(the 26th)…I think it was a Wednesday night, not a Tuesday.
  13. For some reason I’m not remembering any event day before thanksgiving in 2014. Maybe we didn’t get in on that due to not having your elevation?
  14. Ya…I’m not remembering 10” here…but I believe you got that in 02. Like I said I probably had 5-6” here.
  15. It was a Wednesday night in 02 I believe..(night before T-Giving into early T-Giving morning). I’m remembering like 5 or 6” but it could have been a little more than that too. But it was a good little event.
  16. I think my parents have pictures of 71 somewhere..I was 3 yrs old. 89 I remember very well.. that was a good one.
  17. Euro weeklies suck past 2 weeks at best…take with grain of salt past mid month
  18. 71 here. The Short days cool off quickly as you mentioned once past 4 this time of year. That’s the beauty part. It’s gorgeous comfortable, due to the lowering sun angle, which has a great feel. We take and appreciate.
  19. Very well could be Paul…I just remember 02, cuz a couple weeks prior in early November it was 72 degrees and I was on my Harley.
  20. There was one in 02 that I remember..3-5” deal on a Wednesday night/Thursday early morning.
  21. Agreed. Every once in a while we get snow in November. Of course there’s T Giving 1989. Night before T Giving 02 I believe it snowed. 4 years ago(2020) we had 2-3” of snow on 10/30. Back in November of ‘18 we had a good SWFE. 2012 we had a good snow event in November. It happens, but it’s random and not all that common. Nice when it does. But it should not be expected on a regular basis in SNE imo.
  22. 39 days left of them getting shorter..much shorter too. Embrace the darkness.
  23. Same old nonsense. I agree with Steve and Seymour…nobody needs any damp dreary crap until around T Day. If it came a little earlier so be it. But the weather has been stellar…keep it going another few weeks…by that time a flip will be imminent. We’ve had perfect weather for about 10 weeks already..it won’t last a whole lot longer.
