  2. THAT KICKS LIKE A MULE WITH HIS BALLS WRAPPED IN DUCT TAPE
  3. Thank you. Yeah i used to just use all shades of blue but it got very hard to see the towns when the colors got really dark. I figured i would parallel the colors that the NWS uses, more or less. Its easier on the eyes and makes more sense. The color gradient is generally (example): 0 white, T-2 light blue (sub advisory lvl), 2-4 blue (advisory), 4-8 yellow (low end warning) 8-12 orange (warning), 12-18 redish pink (amounts 10+, major), 18-24 purple (amounts over 15 historic/major), green 24-40+ (extreme, rare) This is Mar 2018, an example of why i changed the colors after the blue shade...
  4. Final snowfall totals for Feb 1-2 2021 blizzard. Made a couple new county graphics, because why not. All reports taken from here, PNS, Cocorahs and the NWS 72hr snowfall map. Most of the state ended up right in the range of 10-18" of the final call forecast with one report of +18" (19 in Danbury) and a small hole over southern Tolland and Windham counties of 6-10". Positive General 10-18" statewide verified Highest amounts in Fairfield county as noted by the text in the final call graphic Some mixing in SE CT as noted in the text in the final call graphic as well as lower end of the range Negative Small 6-10 hole over NE CT was not forecast Overall very happy with how everything went with the forecast, couldn't really ask for much better. Grade: A-
  5. BOX just updated their PNS. Some low totals coming out of Tolland county, thats a shame
  6. Did i miss anyone here? Scrolled through the last 12 pages and this is what i could find. thanks to everyone who sent a report.
  7. Also this is the first time we hit 2 1Foot+ storms in one season in 10 years. 2011 was the last time. Thats really the only events we got this season. two big ones and few 1" nuisance events.
  8. yeah i dont believe it, just asking. maybe a public report measuring in the street after it got plowed once ha. 18.0 Seymour 16.5 Bethany 17.2 KNYC (7AM Final) 15.2 KBDR (at 7PM so i imagine its higher than that if it gets updated) 12.1 KBDL (7AM Final)
  9. Preliminary from OKX. Looks a lot more realistic than that BOX map but im sure theyll be updates to both.
  10. thats still real good despite some of the FXs of 4-8 or 6-10 for your area. Id take it for sure!
  11. whats up with the 7" report from Tolland at 720AM, seems super low
  12. 16.2" Good morning everyone, if you have final snow totals in CT please send them to ill be working on some maps today. Try to get them out by the end of the day. Thank you!
  13. dense light snow/snizzle. 2.1" since clearing earlier 15.9" total.
  14. lol is that a joke? i just meant taking measurements every hour, not clearing every hour.
  15. Def not that much i wasnt measuring every hour so not sure. Seymour has 16.0, Bethany 15.8, im at 15.4 as of 9pm.
