    Id take a foot of snow right now all day, Idc if areas around me get 2-3FT, a foot is still a foot. 0.7" total from today, pretty much exactly what I expected. If anyone has any CT totals send em my way, ty

    I like to call it the HI-RESKEV. It's hyper local to the Tolland hills, always comes NW, always come in earlier and NEVER backs down.

    It's pretty bullish for this one. I don't know much about its accuracy but anecdotally it seems to be a bit high a lot of the time. I like using it for 1/hr rates, probs and ICE

    Not a blizzard from the second one, but a double digit snow storm. First one was 14 1/2 here and the 2nd big one was Feb 5th which was 10-11" here.

    compared to last season and this one so far 15-16 was a winter wonderland. Id kill for 39.3" on the season and 2 double digits blizzards....

    Yeah thats very interesting. 2015-2016 and 2022-2023 were so similar in regards to temps. Positive departures and a warm winter overall with one absolutely brutal record breaking 2-day cold snap. Looking back, at least in my lifetime, it looks like it's probably 2001-2002. 16F was the coldest temp recorded all season at BDR. At BDL 10F in 2002 as well. Think that was the last time as far as i can tell.

    Wouldn't be surprised if we dont get to single digies this season...wonder what the stats are on something like that, for climo sites i mean.

    would be a very solid hit for you guys but yea the 48HRRR is about as reliable as the 60/84hr NAMs

    Yeah pretty high, i mentioned that earlier. Low end is just a straight goose egg for everyone.

    BOXs max map for this event is surprisingly high, they have warning snowfall for the entire region on the 1/10 max map.
