    Looking back at the kuchera map i just posted 2mT were around 32-33F around i84 to the merritt which is where we have these high ratios. Not quite mid-30s but still warm enough to kill ratios on kuchera. Its also strange how both pivotal and wxbell use kuchera but they are usually widely different. Weeniebell is almost always higher.

    From yesterdays NAM 6Z run @Hoth and here is an example what "kuchera" was spitting out vs. 10:1..Not much difference right. Dont use kuchera maps, infact dont use snow maps lol. They can be fine for a glance or to see trends etc (i think Wiz mentioned that before) but otherwise its trash.

    Nah from what ive seen Kuchera was terrible. Barely higher than 10-1. I usually use BUFKIT for ratios but even for this storm it was too low. I pointed out yesterday there would be some greath growth NW of that 600-800 avgd fronto band but didnt expect us to see 20:1+. Even though the model output was paltry on the qpf there was the potential for some great rates over central and E CT.

    white rain in the mid-20s? its having a hard time sticking there with the sun angle even at those temps?

    4.0" in 100 minutes. +SN going to measure in 20 to see what fell the last hour but so far 1.8 in 40 minutes.

    ratios im sure are super high 20-1 or more. growth on the soundings always looked very impressive to me for this. Radar update! For some reason the OKX radar isnt loading past 11:14AM
