  1. Damn that was fast from 15-20 to 0.0 in a blink of an eye
  2. sign me up for 1.00 inch of liquid. Well see, could be that or could be the tale of the never ending S trend until Cape May is praying for flurries.

  10. Looks like OKX is going low end warning for most of CT. Probably see watches up across the region in the next hour or so. This is from 11AM
  11. for the entire run, yea. For the end of this storm its about 5-6" statewide. Probs on the EPS are 100/100/30-60% for 1/3/6" across the state.

  13. 32F now, wont be long now...gonna be above freezing before any real precip gets here.
  14. Not sure how UK scores so well with how apparently erratic and out there it constantly is
  15. H5 trend over the past 48hrs has been pretty remarkable.
  16. Central NY/ S VT / S NH looks like ground zero right now. Would be cool to be there right now...if that's your kinda thing Im curious to see what happens in litchfield cty. @tavwtby keep me posted Radar...
  17. all liquid. 32F. driveways, sidewalks, streets wet right now. I checked the trees, cant find anything frozen yet.
  18. We had freezing rain and sleet in the middle of the day April 2016 all the way to the shoreline 33F and light drizzle, everything still wet
  19. Here's our ice forecast for CT. Decided to go pretty lean with the freezing rain totals given model trends and latest HRRR runs. BDR/HVN/GON are all solidly above freezing right now and dont expect them to dip below fz again. Went with nothing for the immediate shore. Inland with a light glaze to possibly up to 0.10 well inland in the hill towns. Biggest concern is far NW litchfield where prolonged freezing rain looks likely and certainly the biggest threat for any damage/power outages from ice.
