  1. embrace it man - it also means places like the Sierras get like 12ft in one weekend. We just have to go to those places.
  2. Yeah May 2020 was nuts - if you recall there was a day where we barely got into the low 50s in the city (and colder outside) with sunny skies.
  3. Felt like i heard some sleet in Tenley - pretty miserable 39.7F rn
  4. lol - just want to point out that the Tucson photo is some ugly sprawl while Philly is a gorgeous skyline photo and DC is the Jefferson Memorial. Enjoy your snow tho!
  5. sorry brooklyn I should've posted a pic of the R train - but the enthusiasm is the same lol
  6. preferably when the "hour" number on the map is in double digits.
  7. yeah i feel like we would get lucky at least once with a super niño
  8. That sounds like a problem and tbh is pretty disturbing if that is really what is happening here.
  9. 46F for Jan + Feb is insane - that's basically a normal Jan & Feb for Atlanta, GA.
  10. if we really do flip to a Niño, we might just do it. We are due for a brutal summer.
  11. 64/41 for this final day of February at DCA, another double-digit (+10) day relative to average. A day more typical of early April.
  12. low-mid 60s - just absolutely amazing out rn.
  13. Fred La Marmotte died on Feb 2 in Quebec this year - should've been a big ol' red flag.
  14. I thought DCA just got its first sub 40F day of the year, but it looks like we hit 40 just after midnight last night, so-- nope. It also didn't get below freezing. Remarkable.
  15. This is about what it looked like in Tenleytown. Was nice while it was falling lol.
  16. We can go to the NE forum in April when we're in the 70s and they are stuck in days of 45 and fog.
  17. By my count (someone can check me on this), we've had 12 days of 32 or lower, and 8 of under 32, so far in 2023. I wonder what the record minimum count of such temperatures is for a calendar year for DCA/DC?
  18. Let's go - I'm on board. Normally I would be telling late Feb events (unless we were measuring in feet) to fuck off, but since we've gotten basically a dusting all year, we run with different season-end criteria at the moment.
