  1. Enjoy it! Moving to the mountains has been the best decision in my life. Or at least one of the best
  2. Same here. But the difference between here and Whitefield is pretty amazing. My backyard above, and 10 miles away in Whitefield below.
  3. Really can’t complain about this in November. Stake up to just over 6”.
  4. Same here - we’ve been stuck at 31.8 with light snow. Looks great though!
  5. Another snowy night. Stake was down to 5” this afternoon with compaction, but we’ve added another inch or so since then
  6. Another snowy evening here too. About 3/4” fresh snow since this evening.
  7. Had flurries on and off all day, now steady light snow. First plow of the season on my driveway today! Interesting to see how warm the ground still is though, some of the snow was melting from below - especially in some spots.
  8. Damn! I’m bummed we’re missing the aurora. But it’s still snowing hard and it’s really beautiful out.
  9. Haha well… we do have great prices this time of the year for any Southerner that wants to visit it’d be great for business to have a good winter. Skiing hasn’t been an issue but snowmobiling has been tough in the past few years
  10. Either way, not a bad start to the month - and the forecast has snow almost every day for the next 7 days
  11. I was down in Boston today and the forecast said snow was going to start snowing at 5. Wasn’t expecting to come home to 6” of powder! Scary drive lol, don’t have winter tires yet
  12. I set up the ice skating rink tonight. Hope I don’t regret it lol, it’s quite early but it becomes a pain to do if there’s too much snow. Snow is really coming down now…
  13. Was down in Boston for the day, saw a flurry down there, came back to full on winter. Driving through the notch was not fun.
  14. Wintry forecast this week. Chat with the head of the ski area this week, looks like they’ll try to open by the weekend weather permitting!
  15. Should be a couple of hours before the cold air gets here. It’s warmed up for a bit and it’s now starting to cool off. P&C actually modeled that quite well with rain flipping to snow around midnight as the wind turns NW. the rates have been very low in general, more of a heavy drizzle than rain
