Mappy I'm not sure if you've muted me, but anyway...this is kinda where I've been trying to get to. In fact I've thought about what you've said about this before about just enjoying the flakes you get. And now I find myself more able to do that...although at the same time I still want that warning level snow and not get fringed again, lol But I think if we don't focus so much on what somebody else gets...we're better off. Definitely gonna take time to enjoy it!

After all this time I should've realized that most active posters are in the southern half...lol See I'm rooting for a north trend. I mean 4-5" is pretty good and would look really nice and deep wintery with the arctic blast setting in. BUT, on the other hand...I and others have been fringed that way a lot the last 9 years...

Well yeah that map is fantastic! What worries me is the Euro runs. Those got Baltimore north to like 4 inches maybe. Yeah it's a bit of an outlier but there's still tine for other guidance to bleed that way, smh Hopefully 12z euro is better.

That's what worries me. It's so far south that my yard is on the lower end as well as north if me...and we've been fringed several times the last 9 years. That's why I'm mentally preparing for a just a low low-end warning or advisory event until we see just how far south the euro is gonna go (I do wonder where the goal post is there) and if other guidance caves to it (so far the rest of the 12z suite hasn't caved though )

That is a bit south of 0z though...for us Baltimore north folks we're sweating it (the rest of you shouldn't have to though)

Good luck making a snowfall forecast! I mean if it's gonna be the difference between 3-6 and mixing or a foot for the southern part of our forum, or the difference of a foot or 3-4 inches for my yard and north.....man what do you even call there?

With that new feature showing up in NE threatening to push everything south, though...wouldn't we want more amped to fight that more?
