The way I see it...at least Pees is a veteran DC who can get this defense to play to a serviceable level. Bend-don't-break is still better than what we got now, lol

Yeah I don't this uh...sorta whining everytime Harbaugh doesn't completely skewer somebody publicly after a loss. "Keep working" can mean a lot of things and we don't know what's being said in-house.

All they gotta do is get to "serviceable". Just to not suck...I think there's still time to get them there IF they make the right moves.

Let me ask ya something....what would be the positive of him throwing them under the bus right now? This is typical coachspeak they all use. This doesn't mean they're not gonna make some moves at the trade deadline (and even coaching). EDC has a track record of making moves if they're available.

What do y'all think about what it could look like up at that Liberty Resort in PA this year? I'm not familiar with how this climo has been up there. If there's potential I may try skiing for the first time this year...just to see some snow, lol

I'd argue though that that was them staying aggressive instead of being passive...even if the play call was wrong. We've given up too many big leads late!

Yep--we gotta stay humble. This is reminding me of the drop-off we had from Pagano to Dean Pees in 2012 (but this may be slightly worse). Goodness gracious...but what are the options here if Zach Orr doesn't get it together? I mean...would re-hiring a now old Pees with past issues be worse than what we have? Lol

Dang you went further than me, lol I mean yeah Ninas double dip (although I'd like to see examples of times when they didn't), and if we go into next with the same ol' -PDO with another nina then eh. Once we get +PDO at least it'll be something to watch to see how much of a factor the opposite has had on our winters. Of course there's warm pools and other dumb stuff in the pacific too, but what I hear from the better minds on here is that -PDO is an issue. Change that and we can watch...

I know I get weenied for being too negative, but any realistic look at what's actually happening--notably that -PDO mixed with a nina--tells ya that there's just not much there. While nobody wants to toss a winter before it starts, if there were ever a year where doing that is perfectly logical, it's this one! You never know...It's like Manning vs. Brady in his earlier years. Brady gave Peyton (whose playoffs struggles are well documented) fits...but then the 2006 playoffs came and he finally beat Brady, and then finally got that ring! Sometimes it just needs to be the right year...ya never know!
