    @psuhoffman Even you said that years that were absolute duds like last year weren't typically flowed up by great years, did you not? Now does that mean it CAN'T happen? No. It just hasn't...and so you mention it.

    Oh I am regretting this more by the minute. I never said those years affected the weather...more like indicators. Maybe I look at as do certain things predict certain things. Certainly APPEARS that way sometimes...sometimes not. But the weather ain't affected by a particular day. Maybe particular days seem to predict the weather sometimes. Ya think if something happens less often in a certain time span, when you get there you see it as less likely. Doesn't mean it is though

    Indeed...it's like trends in sports. Just because there's a streak doesn't mean it can't be broken. However will I feel better if a streak in my favor hasn't been broken yet? Sure!

    Light freezing rain with some pings mixed in. Failing had ice, walkway just wet for now (but the morning paper was icy, lol) 28 here

    I love how folks throw "just move" around as if everybody can do that at the drop of the hat, other life factors be darned, lol For some of us the only way is through it. Dropping the hobby ain't a thing for some either...some do the hobby soley to chase snow chances to see what may happen. Snow, happiness...hobby develops in the pursuit of finding out if there will be snow...So "drop the hobby" means "don't look!", lol
