I think they got a chance...1 seeds can get bounced early sometimes...And Hurts hasn't played in the playoffs before...I think the Giants have some momentum.

In terms of games...while I used to tear through adventure and RPGs...now I can milk one for a year or two. These days videogames are a mixture of recreational and therapeutic (helps get the ADD energy out, lol) Never played Skyward Sword, when it was on Wii...so been playing that lately (about to beat it actually!). Cannot wait for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom!

I'll admit it--I'm an emotional dude. Snow gets to me where more than it should but I do believe I am not far from being able to put snow in it's proper, more healthy place. But I am definitely not there yet...but I can see the cracks in the armor of this thing that has had it's gold on me. Yes I get out of line, (got out of line today) and gets rightfully smacked down when I do. Why I post like I do and as much as I do. Maybe it's because there aren't many others who share our passion for snow. I have no clue (part of this is an addiction I'm almost sure of it). Just gotta keep in mind all the other readers of this forum and not how I personally feel about where things are or what people post, no matter what it is.

Listen to a degree I get it. A less-knowlegeable poster criticizing how a more knowledgeable poster posts looks really bad. Kind of like a rookie telling of a vet--even if the rookie thinks they have a legit point. Now, I don't think I was alone in my opinion THIS time.....but, other posters who contribute are respected and I get that. Nah there aren't any "places", and the forum is open. Now it's up to the mods if they wanna put the clamp down on subject matter and such (I wouldn't blame them if they did). Their call has to be respected.

I wanted to apologize to you here. I am truly, truly sorry and I didn't realize how that sounded (wish I had realized it earlier. I feel absolutely awful for all the times I did it the last few years not realizing how it sounded and how you would feel about it. Man if had realized that earlier! In my rather quirky sense of humor I jokingly saw ya as a "mother" of this forum for whatever reason. I'm actually curious about the pattern starting next weekend...can we get a 7-10 days of decent cold? Still looks split-flowy to end the month and the start of February...

If we can have a stretch like 2013/14-2015/16 I'm not sure it'll matter whether it makes this stretch look worse, lol This will always be the worst period in our snow climo...and if things don't turn around I think it'll look even worse (I mean we just did 1.2" three years ago...I do hope we can avoid that this year...but who frickin' knows?)

@psuhoffman Your last post...are you saying the arctic (the cold air source) just ain't cold? Lol

Not based on that...and that's out in fantasy range anyway. Now if it still looks like that 4 days from now then nah. Just a hunch that's all, lol If we gonna get on the board it'll happen late Jan or early Feb.

That neither wave next week is gonna work out didn't surprise me...I mean they were low probability from the start and I largely ignored them save 12z yesterday when there was a slight hiccup. Now what would be more disappointing is if we can't manage to pull off flakes of some kind the following weekend. That's the period I've been kinda keyed in on since last week...I mean maybe it'll be persistence again, maybe not. We haven't seen the setup look quite like that either and we have a little more cold to the north. So be it by a little piece of energy or something more...it's worth watching (nothin' to lose, lol) And even after that let's just see where it goes...
