  4. was 10 years old and lived in Wethersfield Connecticut when the Lindsey storm came on my brothers birthday, Don’t know if it was actually a blizzard but it sure seemed like one

  12. I don’t know even in a negative pattern it can still snow and it’s only December 5th, Larry Cosgrove said last night there could be a surprise or two even before the pattern starts to change around the 25th
  13. Strictly an observer and have been on this site for a while, long enough to see that whatever the thinking is four or five days ahead of the event it’s a 50-50 chance, usually, sometimes it’ll be 6 to 12 inches of nothing and sometimes it’ll be 2 feet of partly cloudy, one thing for sure it will eventually snow, as of now there have been two snow events in Barkhamstead, a dusting and about 0.75”, pretty typical as of December 5th.
  14. 29° NE wind gusting over 35mph and moderate snow, hard to say exactly how much has fallen because of drifting but it looks like 15”-17” here in Barkhamsted, at the bottom of the hill in Southwick MA temp was 31° with snow and snow pellets, drove up from South Carolina Saturday hoping to catch a good storm, no disappointment here
  15. 15° NE wind 20 mph gusting over 25, 7” maybe 8 inches, hard to tell with the drifting
  16. 18° Snow started 40 minutes ago and ground covered, about 0.75”
  17. Wasn’t the mayor Daley blizzard in early February of 1969? I was 10 years old and lived in Wethersfield Ct and remember it as being more impressive than the blizzard of 78, I know the 78 blizzard was huge east of the Connecticut River but in Wethersfield while impressive it wasn’t as impressive as February 1969
  18. Still a lot of Oak leaves to come down and the Japanese maple still has plenty of brilliant red leaves,
