Today! Fall! Arrived!!! YESSSSSSSS.

Was in DC today, a drastic diff between there and HBG. 

Looks like a pattern flip hits middle of next week to usher in some "arctic" air. That SHOULD end any of this humid and mid 80s BS we're dealing with still. 

Had around .65" for the entire event. A drought, basically. 

I’m so f’n done with heat. Today sucked. Where is fall?

Looks like my gut instinct of not having Florence deliver us rain was very wrong. Monday and Tuesday look very wet across PA.

As for me, I'm feeling much better. Still sore sometimes, but my overall health feels much better. Who knew how bad an overactive thyroid could make you feel? I sure didn't. I'm sleeping better, I have a crazy appetite right now, and I feel less tired and more energetic.

That's good to hear. Hope your driving stuff works out OK, was sad to hear the hours were so few. 

Steady rain again tonight in hbg, this wasn’t modeled. Thankfully it seems Florence won’t even bring us cirrus clouds perhaps.

Hell 1-2” rain over three days will seem like a drought here.

KMDT has recorded 4.07" rain from Friday though 10 a.m. today.

While Mag has due cause to be alarmed (as we all do after the last few days and what we have in store for today), it does appear that as currently modeled, that Florence hits a wall at the MD line and skirts/retrogrades/stalls (model dependent), but for now, we seem to get into it, but on the more northern side of precip shield.  The stall shown on hrs 96-168 on GEFS would make many bay folks quite nervous.  Infeed up int the bay from NW quad from the atlantic would be nuts.  GEPS has similar look with the stall, but further south into GA Carolinas and would "save the bay".  EPS track from free panels looks like it follows GEPS (or GEPS follows EPS - depending on what model you worship).

Interesting week coming up.  Stay dry if you can...

I have a suspicion we miss most all of the moisture, which unfortunately means those south and especially in the Blue Ridges are going to get really hammered with floods. 

As of 5 p.m. KMDT record 1.78” rain since midnight, a new daily record (was 1.33”)

Lots more rain incoming too.

Penn State probably loses 3 or 4 games. 

To the weather, looks like we're getting another big round of soaking rains starting Thursday. Good news though - the weekend looks like it'll be in the low 70s max for the LSV and the northern tier guys might struggle to hit 65. 

This week is going to suck. That is all.

This upcoming week looks miserable for September. Humid and 90. F that.
