W-B might be a microburst rather a tornado ... we’ll se what NWS rules in a day or two. Terrible damage regardless, winds had to be over 100.
-
Friend is the editor of the W-B paper. I won’t say more but is is devestating there - many unaccounted for.
-
I don't see much severe east of CTP but yeah Altoona area might be able to cash in with legit severe later this afternoon.

It usually dies off this time of year. But no, i don't go on vacation until next week. Chicago then Milwaukee. 3 baseball stadiums and several brewery tours for my daughters college grad gift
You're a great dad. Can you adopt me?

We finally got some rain in the Harrisburg area last night. It poured for a few hours overnight. It now breezy & a little chilly out for early June.
That missed the city. Had .15” overnight.

More training over Lancaster and York counties now. Might be a flash flood emergency near Columbia even.
Storms won’t cross the turnpike though.

That looks like serious rain over Lancaster city and Millersville.

Speaking of Harrisburg...anyone going to see the Sens welcome Tim Tebow on City Island next week? My wife and I will be at the Tuesday game....she will no doubt be wearing her Florida Gator #15 jersey...
Get there early. I’m not going but see the stadium outside my office window, ha.

Big storm 7 miles to my south, and we’ll get nada. Sunday night looks to be my only hope for real precip, crazy after 5 days of 70% pops.

It's especially remarkable given the flooding that has occurred over the past week in Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey.
If this were winter we'd be apocalyptic.

I think we're in line for a pretty good soaking between now and Sunday evening.
What I want to know is this - how many sunny, refreshingly low humidity days have we had this spring?
I watched entire storms get murdered by the mountains tonight, while I had a .1” of rain. I’m thinking anyone near and south of the turnpike gets almost nothing this weekend.
-
Is this forecast rain actually going to occur over the next two or so days, or will it be another large miss for us?
-
All those storm threats and 100% chance of rain, maybe 20 drops of rain in midtown hbg.

Sounds like we missed a real storm. There are limbs all over here when we got home this afternoon.

It’s been 80+ every day since Friday in London. This is awful. Tomorrow looks to be in the upper 60s, finally.
Looks like weather bsck h9me has been very pleasant after we left that insane hot spell.

Thanks guys!! Pretty excited. And @canderson, I actually have been to Texas and I like it. Laid back atmosphere and Midland is actually a rapidly growing area. Everything is there now. We'll be sure to visit all of Texas while we're there. If anyone is ever in the area, feel free to stop by. Our home will be open
My nephew currently lives in Midland on a 4-year medical residency.

Well guys. I know it has been a while since I last posted in here, but I wanted to say thank you all for the support over the years and allowing me to be part of the weather family that is the Central PA sub-forum. The reason I am saying this is because I will be moving this summer and embarking on my journey west, full-filling my dream as a National Weather Service Meteorologist out in Midland, Texas. I will also be getting married in early June prior to heading out and my last full-time shift at my current position is tomorrow. It has certainly been a pleasure and I will make sure to check in on occasion, especially with any big Winter Storms on the horizon. But for now, I will be trading in my snow hat for a hard hat as I head to the land of the dry line. I couldn't be more excited!!
Congrats! Don’t judge Texas by Midland. And remember Fort Worth is worth the drive .... !
Kiss the soil for me please.

It's hot. Boooooo. We leave for London Friday though and each day looks to be low 50s to around 70. Not bad.

Damn, that's crazy. I didn't see any radar images last night - I didn't even know it was storming anywhere east of Altoona until I saw my friend's photos of W-B on Facebook. Thank God I didn't post "BUST" to the storm prediction since no one here in the valley even saw rain.
