    garden update: doing great! have cherry tomatoes growing, a couple green peppers in early stages. some blossoms on the zucchini and watermelon. cucumber is finally taking off and starting to grow up my trellis'.

    It’s an ingrround pool and I feel we probably need it completely resurfaced. Lot of plaster damage over the winter

    I need more than advice. I realize it’s a really busy time of year for pool companies, but we cannot get anyone to come out and even look at our pool to tell us what kind of work/repair it needs. Been sitting empty for a month now.

    not a rumble of thunder, some mod rain for a few hours. Not getting any sun yesterday I am sure played a role on the storms staying to my south.

    FWIW - HRRR coming in much wetter for this evening/tonight. Again, totals are completely dependent on where cells go, but its more widespread vs this morning when it was very hit/miss.

    guess it mostly depends on where a cell sets up. Not sure how well the meso models handle these type of setups in pinpointing where the heavier spots will be. we know the potential is there though.

    Any pool people here? We are with out a working pool. When we opened, we decided to drain the pool this year, and have water brought in (we are on a well, and our water is pretty contaminated by runoff due to salting operations during the winter). In doing so we found a lot of plaster damage. I don't think the pool has been resurfaced since it was installed (1990s), so I assume it's pretty standard wear and tear. However, for three weeks now, we have not been able to get anyone to schedule an estimate to figure out the cost of getting it repaired. We can't even get calls back. I know its a busy time for pool companies, but jesus. Figured I'd ask to see if anyone here has experience with pools/plaster/resurfacing work.

    Same, I fell asleep at 11 and it was only before that when the long off rumbles finally stopped. I didn't get nearly as much rain out of it as you, but quarter size hail at least Hugs! Hopefully it won't be too bad tonight, and the rest of the week.

    crazy pics out of frederick last night, hope everyone from here, who lives there, are okay. But storms like that last night are my favorite. It thundered for hours. Just long rumbles, lots of lightning. wasn't much wind with the initial thump, the hail was cool and picked up some rain, but wasn't a deluge all night.

    One inch hail here for a good 2-3 minutes, pouring now, not much wind but a ton of thunder and lightning
