  6. nope. Euro will still be OTS. Maybe next time.
  7. And here I was thinking highly of you over our shared love of Woodford...
  8. Just an outsider pov, wouldn't it make more sense to merge with, oh I don't know, the rest of the PA people instead of NY? Totally blame you all for weatherguy aka cape may dude, aka AGW lover who **** up the MA forum until yesterday.
  9. Google CWG 2009 2010 snow map and an article Ian put together will pop up. Map and totals with it
  10. Love this day! https://twitter.com/mapgirl18/status/677942052936642560
  11. you shut your whore mouth -- the ice storm the northern MD areas got in Feb 2014 was terrible. No power for a day, couldn't leave the house until later in the day due to trees down, a one-year old at home. F-that.
  12. for me personally: Jan 2000 Dec 2009 Jan 96 Feb 2010 (both) The Jan 2000 storm is what got me into weather, so I can't diss it. But do remember the 96 storm quite well and it was amazing. I will always be biased for Dec 2009, for obvious reasons.
  13. hey southerners! please be sure to stop in the Mid-Atlantic snow totals thread and add your totals after todays event! Enjoy your snow
  14. I only bumped it because its my favorite day, sorry to upset the rest of you
  15. Thanks for visiting the site! Your mom is a good person
  16. Using the data released by the Springfield office (as linked above). I wrote up a blog post for ustornadoes.com about the 2-year anniversary. Includes some radar images, and a few maps. http://www.ustornadoes.com/2013/05/22/joplin-missouri-ef5-tornado-may-22-2011/ Thank you to JoMo, who took the time to compile a list of videos taken along the path of the tornado. I used some of them in one of the maps. Thinking of Joplin today.
  17. I remember parts of 295 (up near me) where merge lanes weren't plowed all the way. I went to work one day between the storms and got to the end of the in ramp and had to come to a screeching stop. I was either going to drive straight into a snow bank or onto 295 traffic. Was really bad and am lucky I didn't cause an accident because of it. I called SHA as soon as I got to work to complain. It was plowed that day.
  18. At this point 3yrs ago, I was a little tipsy following my rehearsal dinner, and waiting for the snow to start in Frederick.
