  1. No winter will ever top 09-10 for me but I’m biased haha
  2. Big difference in amounts just 10 miles south. Some yards already had areas of grass showing on the way to dance.
  3. I shoveled around 730 was already slush at the bottom. Got about 60% done and had to come inside for a meeting. Mr map went out not long ago to finish and took him no time. It’s melting haha
  4. Coworkers in Warwick said it’s crazy windy with little to no vis up there this morning.
  5. 2/22-2/23: 5” Season Total: 23.8”
  6. lol Norrisville with 7.5” in their cocorahs report @WxUSAF
  7. 31.5° 1.5” of mashed potato snow, all surfaces covered.
  8. Temp down to 33 and snowing nicely. Grass turning white
  9. 35 with drizzle at the moment. Going as expected imby, when rates picks up it snows, then back to drizzle/light rain in between heavier pockets of precip. Had to pick up kiddo from a friends an hour ago, about 10 miles south. Was snowing when I left, then rain at the friends house. Elevation helping for sure.
  10. Temp up to 34, with snow. Not accumulating but pretty to see
  11. 33 and precip to my south. Rained at some point earlier given wet ground. mPING reports of a mix to my west, and snow north of me in PA. Expecting a mix or all snow when precip comes north
  12. ~.4qpf before the surface gets to 32 (not taking into effect evap cooling), and over 1 inch qpf after that until midday Monday. Amazing if it happens.
  13. Hrrr is toasty. 37 for a high imby tomorrow. Probably white rain for a time.
  14. This explains it well, with graphics. Note, it’s from a met up in the Maine area, but synoptic details apply all the same https://forecasterjack.com/glossary/glossary-of-cold-season-terms/norlun-trough/
  15. Probably because you’re just outside the CCB and getting the subsidence. My snow, at least per gfs kuchie, is a combo of accumulating daytime snow (thank you elevation) and being on or in edge of CCB later
