  1. 44/42 right now. First night I can see my breath outside since last winter.
  2. I mean the radar presentation right now is awesome for about 2/3 of our members. I'm on the north west edge of the heavier stuff. If this was winter, it would be like the Nemo storm from my area...so close, yet so far away.
  3. Heavy rain in Parsippany. Wife called to say 287 North is flooded in low laying spots.
  4. Off topic, but man oh man is Michael a beast. That radar presentation is beautiful. Prayers for all of those down there and any on this board who have family there.
  5. This is the thickest fog I've seen out this way in some time.
  6. Perfect fall morning. Just missing the smell of wood smoke; but with yesterday's warmth that's too be expected.
  7. Any western forum members noticing color changes? This past week numerous areas of yellow are popping up in the valleys out here.
  8. Tornado warned but it looks like most activity is north of me.
  9. 53 and heavy rain in Chester this morning. 74 and humid now in ocean beach.
  10. Down the shore for a late vacation week; looks rough. Raining all day so far.
  11. It's been at least a week out this way. Stuck at 68 for the high. Maybe they re-emerge tomorrow.
  12. 59 currently. Closing in on 2.25" since this began Saturday afternoon.
  13. Stuck at 51 since 7:30 am. Moderate rain now. Over an 1" since yesterday. Raw out. An early herald of fall.
  14. There appears to be a massive slug of rain moving eastbound. I have about 1" since it started yesterday afternoon around 3:00. Current temp 50. So close to my first 40s of summer/fall.
  15. Cape May Crusher! Fun to look at...but 200 hours away.
  16. Wow what a morning; without looking at models, I cannot tell what's hyperbole and what's analysis. From hundreds of thousands homeless, to feet of snow in Vermont! All in mid-September!
  17. Topping out at 88. Doesn't feel nearly as oppressive as yesterday out this way.
  18. Well over an 1" out this way. I lost track of how much we have received since this pattern started in July. Safe to say this is the greenest my yard has looked for the later part of August in quite a while. Still mowing once a week to keep up with the lawn.
  19. One last cell developed right over head. Closing in on 1.25" total for tonight. Jungle like greenery for mid-August.
  20. Getting hit with it now. Frequent lighting. Some good cracks of thunder so far.
  21. Same thing from out this way. Looking east, there's a massive anvil cloud, with blue sky to the southeast. I wish I had a good camera for times like this.
  22. Happy for the folks near the coast/city who've missed the storms the past few weeks. I'm still seeing quite the light show and I must be at least 45 miles as the crow flys. Maybe I'm seeing another cell in union county?
  23. 84/73. Just back from an 8:00 am peach breakfast at one of the local farms. Brutal heat index. Full sweat by 10:00 am carrying around my almost 2 year old, who ran out of steam walking up the hills.
  24. NEXRAD indicates parts of southeast Sussex County, near Stockholm toward Vernon have received 6-8" so far. Not sure how accurate the radar is.
