  1. Reading comprehension FTL. C O L L E C T I V E L Y Models seem to be locking in. Hit 90F today. With it so beautiful down here I'm still jealous.
  2. One of those models has to be close to actual. OR One has to be least wrong. The forum (sub-forum) is akin to ensembles of thoughts and comments. Collectively always right
  3. Tickling 90F combine that with low dews, a COC day. Liking the look of a widespread foot inbound. BOMBS away!
  4. SREF's looking like it's (their) usual self (selves). LOL
  5. Some skewed opinions recall of history and of people from a Country that only tasted democracy oh so briefly. Every single man, woman and child will fight to end. The Industrial Military Complex just sparked to life. Incoming proxy War
  6. War, like murder is only done by Crazy people. Humanity wise when will we learn, complete insanity! FOX News should have their license revoked. I will never watch FOX ever again, even turn the volume off during sporting events.
  7. SAD! Pray for the people of Ukraine. I visited Kiev back in 2012, a beautiful City and Country. The only thing they'll be guilty of is a want for democracy and strive for freedom. It's 1938 all over again.
  8. I'm hoping my fellow forum members still visit this thread... I have a VP2 and for the life of me have yet to get connected to my software WV32. Serial Port to USB running Windows10 Pro. I connected to WeatherLink but it's not as comprehensive as WV32. Straight to Serial Port (nada), suspected drivers, port settings not it. USB with converter. Windows doesn't recognize under device mgr. Does anyone know where to find T/H pagota replacement for TWI (out of business) WL-8000? Thanks in advance! Available via PM
  9. That would apply to me. Yah, I don't understand why I post in the forum. I'll tell you why. The New England sub-forum has some of the most knowledgeable individuals in this forum. New England will always be where I'm from and forecasting is always a challenge... anyway, why bother... HRRR is going to town! Think it's gon snow!
  10. Thanks. I use a computer software program called grads. Grads is free, loads of fun, tons of variables all levels of the atmosphere. I run a script and then photoshop if needed. It's so versatile one can program a model run 000h to 384h. NAM, GFS, RTMA, RAP... IM if you would like help in setting it up.
  11. I don't know why I post snow amount maps. Admittedly it's an addiction, this is my fix. Not a blockbuster but snow is snow.
  12. I will Ray. I know I'll be buried up there because my parents have 4 plots available...TMI. A pseudo–Miller B appears to be unfolding. There be potential for prolific amounts if everything shakes out perfect, the red flags of caution be flying. Will be fun to watch. Thinking is something "big" will occur before the dews set in.
  13. People be like desperate, well not exactly desperate but begging for some action. I'm 80F down here at 10am., got to love Floridah, yes "dah" might have to move. Sell the property for maybe 700k, start over to an area conducive to season changes. People here are crazy! Only if my health was better. Spring is Springing unfortunately have had several killing hard freezes. The sensitive semi-tropical plants took a major hit. Another model hugging clusterfk, more things change the more they stay the same. It's trackable.
  14. Looks like a Summer squall-line entering W Ma. Rotation? LOL
  15. Not to go OT, here goes.... It's GINX's BIRTHDAY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Steve! This event is on life-support. I'm looking forward to the first 90F day this year. With the hard freeze of late the fauna is slowly making a comeback.
  16. GRADS works better on a Unix Operating System. It's probably crashing because you're running the wrong version. For Windows try the following: grads-2.2.1.oga.1-win32_superpack
  17. So, from ridicule and criticizing George... he's taking the place of James faster than the model's churn. Just as long the NAVGEM is "on board" Call it broken clock syndrome. GAME ON!
  18. DOA. Even before, way before it's arrival. Have to like the enthusiasm. Start learning from mistakes, I guess. Instead of being critical, maybe posting less, reading more why not take the opportunity and give reasons of why or why not the event is a threat. Even with years of watching and learning the little nuances of long range is an acquired skill to which some never learn or recognize. (ME)
  19. GRLevel3 V2 works quiet well, in fact breaks down R/S/IP/FZ. Wundermaps to a lesser degree.
  20. One of the benefits of the icing will be the glaciation of the pack. S coast, CC looks to cash-in on heavier PCP which should be snow. CRAZY incoming only nowcast will be the telltale.
  21. ICE is not something to mess with! PERIOD Even a .01"in will wreak havoc. Prudent to err on the side of caution in closures. Crazy world passing judgement on everything. The more people know judgement gets skewed and tailored to their liking. Another 80F day down here. You know the State that bans books.
  22. It's like watching grass grow. SLOW and steady ooze toward the S and E.
  23. A SLEETFEST SIGNATURE ON THE 18z NAM. Appears to be some traction to trending colder. Just have to get these models to rid that warm tongue in the ML's
