  1. It nailed that 29 right over my yard lol. It was 32 at 1am and 31 or below from 2am forward. Right at 30 now. Not quite a hard freeze.
  2. The 9z HRRR did pretty well.
  3. I read this in the comment section of the Russell Street Report in the report card article for the performance yesterday. Sounds like something I could have written lol. https://russellstreetreport.com/2024/10/27/report-card/report-card-stop-me-if-youve-heard-this-one-before/
  4. Maybe leave out the promise part lol. 8 weeks in and the pass D is just as horrific. They benched Marcus Williams today, and ofc no Humphrey and no Wiggins. The secondary play has been among the worst in the league regardless of who is back there though. Something needs to change, but not sure I like the options. Demote Orr and make Pees the DC..
  5. Ravens continue to lose games to inferior teams under Harbaugh. It is a feature, as are the blown 4th quarter leads that end in losses. Sure division games are tough blah blah. When is the last time Winston started a game? He tried very hard (as usual) to throw it to the wrong team. Ravens couldn't take advantage a single time, and got burned on big plays many times, as has been the case all season. Harbaugh promises some good defensive games are on the way though.
  6. Hate to say it, but Zach Orr might be in over his head. They could really use a legit pass rusher though. Never replaced Clowney.
  7. Hamilton could have ended it. That was like the 5th dropped potential int for the Ravens. It was the easiest one too. Oh well. Lots to fix on the defense. 8 weeks in, not seeing much progress.
  8. Ravens have one playmaker on defense right now lol.
  9. A clunker so far. Kind of expected it. That direct snap to Henry early in the game was a ridiculous call in that situation.
  10. Dewpoints overnight are mid to upper 20s for central and eastern areas on the GFS and HRRR.
  11. Its pretty well established. I continue to water it every couple days due to the drought. In my experience it takes a hard freeze or 2 before cool season tall fescue goes dormant. Temps tonight might just get to 32. For seedlings yeah a nice soaking this evening should help protect.
  12. Look at the dew points. High pressure will be overhead, so clear skies. Calm wind and nights are longer. Near perfect radiational cooling conditions. Many locations away from the urban areas should get to or just below freezing.
  13. Pretty much a lock for 0.00" of rain here for October. Maybe a wave forms along a front in the first few days of November, but looks weak at best for now.
  14. Close to peak here. Definitely sooner than normal due mostly to the dryness I guess. Also had a nice stretch with cold nights and warm sunny days. That temp contrast traps the sugars in the leaves. A bunch of leaves came down today with the wind. Very dry/crispy and light- easy work for the leaf blower.
  15. There is always Wisp or Canaan. A bit further of a drive but worth it. Pretty much a guarantee there will be enough cold/snow to ski there in any winter.
  16. Not a lock that we have a legit Nina yet. Could end up a cold neutral. My hope hinges on most guidance hinting at a -EPO, a stretched, somewhat southward displaced TPV, and some hints of neg NAO episodes. Just have to wait and see how the pattern actually evolves, and as usual, hope we get some luck with wave timing and cold enough air mass.
  17. Ridiculously simplistic, low effort, but typical with these predictions. No value whatsoever.
  18. Ah sorry I didn't read your post very thoroughly lol. I did find it and I think I reposted it several years ago, but not sure the thread.
  19. That's the one. It is still in the threads somewhere. Do a search.
  20. Jebman goes pretty far back. He has made some hilarious posts. There was a series from about 10 years ago that were epic.. winter of 2014-15 I think.
