  1. Maybe some rain chances this weekend/early the following week as the High shifts SW, and some energy can drop in from NE over the top. Looks dry until then, with increasing temps. Humidity should stay pretty low, but we are spoiled so it will feel plenty uncomfortable if we do reach the low 90s. CMC more bullish on the late week heat than the GFS.
  2. 73. Another perfect May day. Not looking forward to upper 80s and increasing dews later this week. Especially with little to no chance of storms.
  3. Solid. More balanced. Definitely dank. Similar to the Terrapin Hopesecutioner. I generally prefer the hazy, fruity, NE style IPAs more now. Ofc the exception is the DFH 120 min, which is in a class by itself, and not for your typical IPA drinker.
  4. That is a classic. I mean that was like legit craft beer in the early days. Probably the first hop forward IPA, and back when all those bitter beer face commercials were running lol.
  5. Beer talk time. Drinking a Burley Oak Coffee N' Cream, made with Rise Up coffee. Always wanted to try this, but avoided it because of the low (5.1%) abv lol. I must say, it smells awesome, and the taste is wonderful too. The coffee is prominent as expected, but balanced by the creaminess and a slight bit of hops/yeastiness. Quite good.
  6. He is trying "validate" some narrative with these bullshit stories about random teenage boys standing guard in malls and 'unofficially' warning him, and women snickering at him and walking away. Fabricated 'mask drama'. LOL. People are wearing masks where still required, and otherwise it is their choice whether they do or don't, vaxxed or not. That is essentially what the new CDC guidance says.
  7. CFS Summer overview, Fwiw. Check back next week. Might feature a sprawling Bermuda high and east coast drought.
  8. You are vaccinated, so there is literally no risk of dying from COVID, and a very low risk of transmitting it to anyone who isn't vaxxed. Maybe stop obsessing over who wears masks and who doesn't, under what circumstances, and get on with your life. Your long nightmare has finally ended.
  9. 43 here this morning.
  10. Looking good for 85-90 Wed through Friday under the building ridge. As advertised the surface high will initially be right along the east coast, then shift southwestward as the upper ridge retrogrades some. Looks like we may get back doored by next weekend..
  11. Yeah Chuck is in there talking to himself. Or the mother ship.
  12. It's always a losing battle here lol. By early summer it starts going downhill with competition from all the trees, high sun, and well drained soil. At the end, the grass is mostly burned beyond repair. I reseeded with the full sun blend of BB last fall, and I am following their fertilizing schedule. I would be shocked if it makes a difference, but as usual, everything is green and lush for now.
  13. And dry. Going to mow and run the sprinkler this evening/tomorrow morning.
  14. 70 here, with a dewpoint of 34. Pretty darn nice day. Looks like mid 70s tomorrow, with dewpoints creeping up into the 40s. Man are we spoiled. We gonna pay for this.
  15. Looks like normal to above normal temps on the GEFS from early next week onward. Might be close. Upper ridging as advertised stays just a tad west, then retrogrades further west heading towards the end of the month. I will always take the over on heat in the MA though. Pretty easy call once we get into mid May. We do it so effortlessly.
  16. There is at least one other brewery with a beer by that name lol. Plenty of Star Wars fanatics out there, craft beer industry included.
  17. Didn't you say you were vaccinated? Maybe don't worry about the behavior of those who choose not to. Essentially no one needs to wear a mask now, unless required to do so by employer, or by entering a business that requires it. So no, you can't go to Target without a mask, if they continue to require one. They won't be checking anyone for "proof" at the door lol. and it's "here".
  18. Drinking a Nerf Herder Hazy IPA from Black Flag for HH.
  19. Early next week looked kind of interesting on the 0z GFS for a decent rain event. Weak mid level disturbance moving ESE, low level flow off the ocean, and what looks to be a favorable upper jet configuration. 6z run is weaker and wants to squash it mostly south. Looks like a decent line of showers/storms moving through on Monday though.
  20. Warmer and more humid incoming by the end of next week with this h5 look.
  21. Ravens at LV Raiders for the MNF opener.
  22. Partly sunny and 60 here. Yes, very Fall-like. Perfect October day!
  23. Second shot? That's the one that will take you out for a bit with extreme lethargy, and maybe the chills and some mild aches. It varies. Was a 6 hour thing for me, worse for others, and some didn't notice much of anything.
  24. Not too cool. Not too warm. Just right! @nj2va Thursday Sunny, with a high near 70. North wind around 5 mph. Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Friday Partly sunny, with a high near 70. Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Saturday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Monday Partly sunny, with a high near 74. Monday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Tuesday Partly sunny, with a high near 76.
  25. Looks like a nice run of low to mid 70s coming up later this week into next, and mostly sunny. Finally we get some "normal" temperatures.
