  1. Yeah wtf. They better run for 200+.
  2. I am generally of the belief that we ultimately need some decent PAC periods to have success this winter. I keep saying it, but I have more faith in a favorable EPO period than a blockbuster NA saving us from a persistently crappy Pacific.
  3. Better looks, but same results so far. It's super early though. The next few weeks will be telling.
  4. I have no idea what to expect from the Ravens tonight. They have some key players back, but minimal practice and some may show some post covid fatigue? Biggest concern is the lack of talent at TE now, and the continued reshuffling of the OL. Hopefully Dallas is as bad as advertised on the defensive side of the ball.
  5. Well thought out post. Can't disagree with anything here.
  6. Just where we want it, as they say...whoever they are.
  7. EPS keeps the AO and NAO at least slightly negative through the end of the run.
  8. And the very end of the 6z GEFS run looks like this. Western ridge amplifies and sends a chunk of cold southward. I Have seen worse looks on Christmas eve.
  9. You have a guest room? I can pay with craft beer.
  10. Yeah the 15th looks semi interesting, but not much cold air around. The 17-18th window has plenty of shortwave action and it would be colder, so that may be more realistic if we can get things to come together in time. Verbatim its too late on the 0z run and NE gets snowed on again.
  11. No Andrews tonight, so the Ravens, who rely heavily on their TEs in both the run and passing game, will have Luke Willson(LOL) and a couple of practice squad players. Of all the injuries this season, losing Boyle is the worst. I bet they wish they still had Hayden Hurst.
  12. Giants stunned Seattle, and WFT took out the Steelers. Another team from "lowly" NFC east gets a chance to upset a "better" team tonight. As putrid as Dallas has been, the Ravens will stumble enough to keep it close, and it would be no surprise if the Cowboys manage to win.
  13. Clearly they are one of the best teams, and in the end every team is what their record says they are. If you do the analysis though, it reveals they are on the same level as a handful of other really good teams. You tend to miss the subtle points, so I will agree in general and leave it at that.
  14. Great win for the WFT, and anyone who has been watching the Steelers closely knew they were a paper tiger of sorts. A good team, like Buffalo and others, but not a dominant one. They could have lost almost any of those 11 pretty easily.
  15. Backloaded is how we roll here pretty much every winter, when we do actually have a winter, that is.
  16. My WAG is our best chance for some legit winter will be mid Jan onward, and that is at least partially dependent on the Nina weakening and a transition to a -EPO. Not saying we don't see some brief help in the NA at times, but to expect a persistent -AO/NAO seems like fools gold for a multitude of reasons.
  17. Wooooo they actually scored!
  18. Maybe. But there are certain markers of a dominant team. They win ugly a lot. They are clearly very good, but not likely to get past KC. That being said, the Ravens were dominant last season and blew teams out on the reg, but were one and done in the playoffs. Resting players and bye weeks don't always work out either.
  19. He is nothing if not predictable.
  20. Yeah third and 10 from the 1.
  21. Well that was decent. Was about to consider flipping over to Hallmark. Or Lifetime.
  22. The bad news for Washington- the Steelers are pissed and motivated after being wholly unimpressive in barely beating the (hated) depleted Ravens last week. Good news is, they are the worst 11-0 team ever, and are eminently beatable.
  23. 30 here too. Dropped 5 degrees quickly after sunset. Perfect early Dec day, other than we missed a coating of snow just to the south.
