  1. Some peaks of sun here, but still mostly cloudy. Temp finally hit 60.
  2. Still cloudy here. Saw maybe 10 mins of sun earlier.
  3. lol 33 and rain requires temps to be 10+ degrees below average
  4. Except when its sunny and 88 lol. Not sure we can really get a week of sunny and 70s. Average isn't "normal".
  5. My guess is turbulence/mixing due to warmer air moving in aloft above the cooler surface. Sort of like a Karman vortex street oriented on a horizontal plane. Pretty cool looking.
  6. 51 here and mostly cloudy. Some milder/drier air should work in from the SW ahead of the the low tracking to our north. Have my doubts about getting to 66 as forecast but we shall see. Need the clouds to break. I wont complain about the chilly weather as long as it is dry enough where I can get stuff done outside, and I much prefer it to sweating and fighting off bugs.
  7. Damn just missed to the NE. A few massive drops. Been betwixt and between all afternoon. Most impressive thunder I have heard this Spring by far.
  8. Booming thunder here. It has gotten super dark. Looks like the rain/hail might miss just to the north though looking at radar.
  9. Seems so in your world. Aren't you here making broad generalizations about who gets vaccinated and why? It isn't "your side" mandating any of these silly protocols after all lol. I one hundred percent expect you and your family will get vaccinated though. You just love being a contrarian troll.
  10. That would be more acceptable if Summer was equivalent to 3 months of typical May climo.
  11. It was the first winter in my memory where I did not have a single low temp below 20. This area is very effective at radiational cooling on clear winter nights with minimal wind. Our 'coldest' air masses were still largely Pacific in origin.
  12. Just about a half inch of rain total here. Ready for some clearing/drying now.
  13. Solid slug of rain moving through. Coming down harder than at anytime last night.
  14. Nope. I wear one where required, same as you. Keep on with your fux news narrative tho.
  15. Yeah I am ready to take a stand at the local hardware store here. I am fully vaccinated. Why should I be forced to wear a mask. If they throw me out I will keep going until I find a place that won't. I may never get my weed killer, but it will all be worth it for my sense of freedom.
  16. Steady rain here now. It would be nice to pick up another quarter of an inch.
  17. He doesn't know, and he also knows what he is saying is hyperbolic bullshit. He trolls for attention.
  18. Had some sun earlier, but fading with dark clouds moving in. Radar looks interesting.
  19. The thing is, he wears a mask too. Or maybe he never goes out- just travels between his residences and stays comfortably inside, getting everything delivered, while trolling others about hiding in their basements. Projection.
  20. 0.32" of rain overnight. About as expected. 44 currently. Maybe some instability showers today with steep lapse rates associated with the UL energy rotating through.
  21. Moderate shower here now. Temp down to 55.
  22. After a high of 65, temp is down to 58. It has gotten quite breezy and the skies are dark. Some strong returns developing on radar just sw of here, but the cell(s) are quite small. Looks like there is a line forming, but moving more north than east. We shall see.
  23. And it's almost happy hour.
  24. Yup. As long as it doesn't go desert dry from mid June through July. The larvicide applications seemed to have mitigated the skeeters, and more typical rainfall, as well as everything coming alive, has rapidly shrunk my wetland. Maybe it will actually dry up by early June- which used to be normal.
