Looking pretty healthy on the vis.

Per the GFS most of the rain over here would come from that closed low(as it transitions to an open wave) moving eastward underneath the blocking ridge early next week. That might end up weaker/further south. The Euro is more robust with rain chances tomorrow night into Saturday, more directly associated with the remnants of Helene.

Looking forward to a max half inch of gentle rain and periods of drizzle over the next 4 days. Good for the new grass.

Based on recent trends, it should make low end Cat 3 easily.

All these clouds and the coolish weather keep the ground moist from the rain that fell/watering. New grass thriving here, and I have a new area that was seeded on Sunday. About 75% done. I'll do the last area this weekend hopefully.

We will have plenty of warm and sunny days over the next couple months. Probably some Fall-like ones too. This pattern won't last forever.

Latest thinking from WPC- WPC forecast includes a blend of the GFS/ECMWF/UKMET for Friday and Saturday given good overall agreement with respect to the track of Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine and the handling of the cutoff low to the west. Switched to the GEFS/ECENS means for the latter part of the period as uncertainty the overall pattern grows. The forecast precip field shrinks/dissipates significantly for day 5- i.e nothing for our region east of the mountains.

Most likely the Bengals and Ravens will both be 1-3 when they meet in Cincy in 2 weeks.

There are some subtle differences between the key features despite the same general idea on how this evolves- for one, the closed h5 low off the Canadian Maritimes is stronger/further west on the GFS such that the confluence/convergence aloft on the west side appears to inhibit significant lift for our region. That feature is weaker and a tad further east on the Euro.

Stupid flaw in the rule. Since there was a an ineligible receiver there who attempted to catch it, its not intentional grounding- that would have been the call if he threw it to a spot where there was no receiver in the area. eta- not a flaw(to us it is). it's just the rule.

Harbaugh says he is working though a technical issue. Hopefully that's the case and he regains his form. Probably more likely he is now on the decline unfortunately.

Interesting, I guess? Wasn't very impressive his first stint here a few years ago, and they probably could use some secondary help more than anything on D. We shall see.

This is what I'm thinking. Remains to be seen if a Nino with relatively warm air in Canada can give us the above normal snowfall seasons anymore. Need a Modoki with legit -AO/NAO in the next few years.

And wtf is with Tucker? The game absolutely did turn when he missed what for him used to be a chip shot 46 yd FG. Would have been 31-6. Cowboys took off after that. Still no excuses for the way the defense played down the stretch though.

Humphrey played decently today, but he isn't an impact player anymore. Marcus Williams is mediocre at best at this point. Big names but no longer as productive. Lets hope Wiggins becomes the playmaker he was in college. Showing flashes.

Lamar got it done at the end when it was needed, as he should. Made a couple clutch plays. Ravens have to be dead last in pass defense. Gave up 379 today.

With all the success running the ball where were the shots downfield? Literally nothing to Likely and Andrews and anything to Flowers was underneath. No killer instinct. Not a huge Monkon fan. I remain unconvinced since that debacle in the AFC championship game.
