    Difference is that was rain.....I could see this being like a nuisance fest, and you are fine with that, so that is probably what you mean by "coming back"...need to define that. I think the 6"+ ship has sailed.

    Yes...all I am saying. However, it was absolutely high-end historic over a very densely populated area. No one is disputing that.

    The best analog in terms of sensible weather IMBY to that for me was Boxing day...it was exactly like it.

    Well, whatever....you know what I mean. By the strict definition, yes....certainly a historic blizzard....but not up there with upper tier systems such as Feb 2013 in terms of aerial impact.

    Yes...cheated in terms of aerial coverage. I figured that difference was implicit. I understand the amount of people that experienced around 2' of snow with several hours of blizzard conditions.

    Its not an IMBY thing, Steve.....March 5, 2001....probably the best snow event on record IMBY, but that thing left soooooo much on the table regionally speaking. I can still recognize that.

    Yea, its really a fluke that this winter has been so abysmal across the interior...no rhyme or reason for it. I won't use the "L" word because it will trigger so many, but you get my drift. If I had my choice, I would have traded the 1' of sand in the blizzard for the futility record.
